Five years later
"Phoebe she is close with Liam," I say to Danielle as we cut Phoebe's birthday cake. She is five today, after one month in the hospital she came finally home with us. She grows into a beautiful little girl, with brown hair like her mommy and my emerald green eyes. She is so beautiful that makes me nervous sometimes. A lot of boys are around her and Alexis's daughter, yes she and Sean have a little girl too, Isabella that is best friends with Phoebe like Danielle and Alexis. As I was saying Phoebe and Isabella have a lot of fans. Phoebe one specific Liam my friend James's son. He is a year older and he is always around Phoebe.
"They are friends love. And it's her party, she wants to play"
"Don't you think that they are too close?" I ask and she laughs
"Why are you laughing?" Penelope asks and Danielle look at her
"Ryan like overprotective daddy worry about your son is too close to his daughter," Danielle says, Penelope look at the kids and she laughs
"They like each other right?" She says and looks at Danielle
"They are kids," I say and they laugh
"Take that honey and give them to our guests. And let the kids play" Danielle says to me and I take the cakes. After they all served and the kids we sit with the others. I keep looking at Phoebe with Liam. They eat their cakes and the talk. He even feeds her. That boy is crossing a line
"Where are you going? Sit down. You will make Phoebe cry" Danielle says touching my arm
"He feeds her" I whisper to her
"So? She is having fun. Let her" she says to me
"What's wrong?" Joshua asks and looks at us
"Oh, Ryan worries because our son is too close to Phoebe," Penelope says touching James and all at the table laughing
"You do not have a daughter you don't know how is it"
"We have a daughter but we don't d like that when Daniel is close to Isabella," Sean says
"They are still kids. But think about it. When she is at the age to date don't you want to be with a boy that you know?" Alexis asks
"I try not to think about it," I say and they laugh
"Well that time will come so be prepared," my dad says and he looks at my pregnant sister Laura.
"I had little hard time to get in my head. But you can't do anything about it. They grow up fast" he continues and I look but to Phoebe. Then my ginger smiles at me.
"Ok, I will leave her. For tonight" I say and she kisses me.
"So are you all ready for the weekend?" Michelle asks
"The lake house waits" Brandon continues
"Yeah we are so excited that we will take two days off from work," James says. Every year we all arrange to take days off from work and go on a trip to Brandon lake house. That one that I married the love of my life.
"Yes. I was waiting that weekend a long time." Danielle says and the rest they agree.
"Mommy" I hear Phoebe yell and run to Danielle
"Yes baby" she comes closer and shows her a bracelet
"Look, mommy. Liam give me this" she says and my heart stops. He makes a presents now? Relax Ryan is her birthday is normal
"It's a beautiful baby. Did you thank him?"
"Yes, mommy." Danielle leans and Phoebe whispers something in her ear.
"That's great honey. Be careful don't lose it. Do you want to keep it as long as you play?"
"Yes. I don't want to break or lose it" she says with that cute little voice and then looks at me smiling. Danielle keeps the bracelet
"Don't lose it" Phoebe warning Danielle
"No sweetie I will have in my pocket. I will give it to you later"
"Ok. Love you mommy" she says and she kisses her. And return to her friends
"He makes that you know," Penelope says
"The bracelet?"
"Yes. He watched videos on the internet. How to make a bracelet. It took him a week to fix it"
"That's so sweet" All the girls at the table say at the same time and they giggle
"Do you think that continues Ryan? Think to have Liam as a son in law and I have Phoebe as a daughter in law" James said all at the table they agreed that it will be good. I stand up and go inside the kitchen. I put my palms on the counter and start taking big breaths
"Love? Are you ok?" I hear Danielle says and she hugs me from behind
"I don't want to lose her," I say
"Ryan, Phoebe is only five. And I'm sure when she is old enough to date, we will not lose her" I turn around
"What if she gets hurt?" I ask
"Are you worried about Liam hurting her or about all the boys?" She asks
"It's my little girl"
"She is now but she won't be for always" I breath
"Love. Relax she is still five. Try to enjoy the next years and when the time comes we will deal with it together. Ok?"
"Ok. But do you like Liam?"
"I agree with Alexis. When the time comes I want to our daughter be with a boy that I know. And I know Liam. Didn't you see? He makes his present for her." She says smiling
"At least think that Liam always make her smile"
"That true," I say and I kiss her
"Mommy, daddy" I turn around and I see our daughter
"When you will give me my other birthday present?" She asks and Liam is behind her. At least he is protecting her.
"Soon baby. You know it will be for all our friends a surprise and your grandparents" Danielle says and she takes her hand. And then Liam's.
"You ready?" She asks me and I nod. We go outside. Liam goes near to his parents and Phoebe next to him and she sitting on my mom's legs.
"We have another surprise for all this time not only for our Phoebe," I say and I hug Danielle by her waist. I look at her and I nod
"I'm pregnant again." She says and first Alexis jump from her seat and runs to hug her. Then Phoebe run to her mommy
"I will have a brother or sister?" She asks
"You don't know yet sweetie. But I'm sure whatever it is you love it. And you will help me right?"
"Yes mommy" she turns around and hugs Liam
"I'll have and baby brothers or sister," she says excitedly. All congratulate us and my parents are extra excited. The rest of the night passes smoothly and around eleven all the kids were tired so they all leave. Before they leave they all help with the cleaning. We say goodnight and they left.
I say goodnight to my little girl and I go to my bedroom. Phoebe always wants Danielle to tell her a story to fell asleep. After a while, I'm in the shower and I feel two hands caress my back. I turn around and I see Danielle
"You are early," I say and I kiss
"Phoebe was so tired that she didn't even need a story to fell asleep," she says and she kisses me again. I push her on the wall and I go to the weakest spot on her neck. She moans
"My God Ryan."
"You don't know how much I love to hear you moan my name," I say and I run a finger inside her. She gasps and I kiss her, minutes later she comes on my fingers.
"I love how you know my body so good," she says breathlessly
"But sometimes I don't like it." She says
"Why?" I say laughing
"Because if you want you can make say yes to everything," she says and she leans on my chest
"Good to know," I say and I help her to go to bed. We put on our pajamas and we lay on the bed.
"I love you"
"I love you too. You make all my dreams come true" she says and she kisses me.
Danielle pov
"Mommy she is so beautiful," Phoebe says as she is looking at her baby sister. We have two girls now. Ryan was saying that he wants a boy but when he looks at his daughters he is melting.
"I know sweetie. Just like you" I say and I caress her cheek. She sits on the armchair next to mine and I feed her little sister.
"Can I hold when she eats?"
"Sure. She loves when you hold her." I say and I huge smile comes on Phoebe's face
"She does?"
"Yes sweetie"
"I like her name that you and dad pick for her," I tell her
"Yeah. Jasmine is such a sweet name. If my name wasn't Phoebe I will want my name to be Jasmine" she says and I giggle
"How are the women of my life?" Ryan walks inside the nursery room.
"Daddy. Mommy will let hold Jasmine again" he comes closer and take Phoebe in his arms
"She likes it when you hold her"
"Mommy says that too," she says with giggles. Jasmine ate and I hold her for a while and then her sister holds her.
"I'm going to finish dinner"
"Ok baby. I will stay with the girls" Ryan says and he kisses me. I go downstairs and I see the food in the oven is almost ready. I make the salad and I start making the table. After a while, I hear Phoebe run into the kitchen
"I'm hungry mommy"
"Is ready sweetie. Where is daddy?"
"He put Jasmine to sleep and now he takes a quick shower"
"Ok. He doesn't take long. We wait for a few minutes ok? Bring the salad please" she immediately brings the bowl with the salad. We sat down and I mix a plate for Phoebe.
"I'm here," Ryan says
"Yeah," Phoebe says excitedly. I laugh and Ryan sits down kissing me on the head. He put down the baby intercom on the table. We eat chatting and laughed. Phoebe tells us stories from school and Liam. Ryan still doesn't like it but he doesn't say anything. They both help me to clean the table and wash the dishes and then I go upstairs with Phoebe to put her in bed. I help her take a shower and when she put her pajamas on and I read her a story. When she fell asleep I checked Jasmine and then I walk to my room.
"Hi love"
"Hey, baby. Everything good?"
"Yes both sleeping," I say and I lay next to him.
"If I had a wish the only that I wanted is to stay all as they are now," he says kissing my head
"Same. I wish everything stays like that. I want us and our girls to be ok and happy as we are now"
"I love you ginger" I giggle, I still melt when he calls me like that or touches me.
"I love you too sexy man"
"I like it that you still see me sexy"
"Are you kidding me right now? You still are the sexy hot man that I met six years ago"
"And you are the tease ginger girl I saw that morning outside the salon" I giggle
"I'm so happy that I met you," he says and I lift my head looking at him
"I too love. Although I did not believe that there is what we call "soulmate", I feel that I found it near you. You are my man. You know why; Because you accept me. Why do not you judge me but always advise me in good faith? Because you take care of me. Because you understand me. Why are you supporting me? Because you believe in me. And most important of all? Because you make me smile. How many smiles have you offered me since I met you? Do you have an idea?" He looks at me smiling
"I have now lost count and this is the greatest happiness a person can feel."
"Ginger" he sighs
"You have been given to me completely and that in itself is invaluable. You were left in my arms without caring if I would hurt you. You are not afraid of me. Because you see me, indeed, as an important part of you. Now, just a hug from you, a smile from you, change my mood. You cause me feelings that make me feel not just in love because it will never stop. They make me feel complete and unconditionally devoted to you. And most importantly, they make me happy with you." We kissed with so much love and care.
"You and the girls you are the most important persons in my life. Thank you for the beautiful family you gave me" I say and he kisses me again. I don't know what the future will bring us but I'm ready to deal with everything and everyone with that man in my life
