Project Ultima was a... Unique experiment in your lab. Compared to the others that fought at first instinct, Project Ultima was quite docile at first. Just purring and staring at all the scientists that tried talking to it.
The only thing that got him talking was when one scientist went in with gummy bears for a snack to eat while wasting the time that would of been wasted waiting for Project Ultima to say anything...
You were that scientist, and were highly surprised when he had stopped purring at seeing the gummy bears in your hand as he mumbled "Small bear smell sweet..."
That was six months ago, and now Project Ultima, or now known as Asson as he had informed you, was a favoured experiment just because he was so well behaved!
He never fought, only vocalised if he was uncomfortable with an experiment, and was a delight for the scientists to interview. He was so well behaved that the management board agreed to letting Asson be rewarded, Asson now having a comfortable room to spend time in between interviews and experiments, clothing that he picked out and chewing toys, including a well loved pacifier someone had brought in as a joke.
Today, holding a family size bag of gummy bears, your clipboard and a pencil case for your stationary supplies, headed to Asson's room with a smile. You had a plan to ask about Asson's powers, seeing as he usually dodged around questions about them even though he did confirm his species, Chearian, did have powers.
You walk into the room, grinning to yourself with a fond chuckle at seeing Asson burrowed into the fort of blankets and pillows he had built, tail swaying as the room was filled of the soft sound of him suckling on his pacifier.
Asson's ears twitched at your chuckle, turning his head so you could see his teal eyes, the slits in his eyes widening happily as he purred loudly to greet you.
