on the way home from teacher parent interview Ginger experiences two things.
1. Her first period. She had played off her earlier cramps as too much sugar which she now regrets. There's something running down her leg and when she stops to check. Blood.
2. Her first werewolf attack. Seconds after she stops to check there's the sound of running. One minute she's looking into the woods and the next there's a sharp pain on her left arm.
Ginger isn't exactly sure what happened that night. What she does know is that she's gotten this sudden craving for blood, chaos, and she's this close to snapping.
