"I'm just saying I could come up with a code that only I know how to translate and use that for my finals." Hidan said, slamming his locker shut. Konan rolled her eyes. "Hidan, that is quite literally the oldest trick in the book, and you will get caught within the first five questions."

Deidara chuckled and shook his head. "Argue, argue, argue." He mumbled softly.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I bring coffee." Neji's voice came from behind them. Konan frowned as she saw the brunette struggling to keep the drink trays balanced on his hands and arms. "Oh, Neji, let me help you with those."

"Please do before I drop them, and they spill everywhere."

The blue haired girl was by his side instantly, helping him with the drink carriers and distriputing the drinks between everyone. Hidan sighed in content as he swallowed the hot liquid. "Neji, you are a wonderful bastard."

The group hung around the area, talking and laughing before having to split up for their classes. Bidding goodbye to their friends, Deidara and Obito laced their fingers together. "Crazy to think that graduation is just around the corner." Obito said. The blond laughed. "Tell me about it. This wasn't exactly how I thought this year would go." It was the truth. So many things about the year had hit Deidara like a freight train out of nowhere.

Some good.

Some bad.

He glanced up at his boyfriend. "Hey,"

Obito looked at him, waiting for the blond to continue. Deidara only smiled softly and leaned against him. " I love you." The brunette smiled at him, squeezing his hand. "I love you too."

The two entered their shared class, keeping their voices soft and quiet as they sat down.

Sitting in the back of the class had its benefits, Deidara worked on a sketch for his art class and was able to do it without getting caught. He'd just copy down Obito's notes later.

"Looks nice." A voice whispered softly, not too far from the blond.

Deidara looked over, and his eyes widened in surprise to see that it was Sai complementing his art. He chuckled awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Thank you..."

The black haired boy smiled sweetly at him. "I've actually been struggling a bit with coming up with a rough sketch idea for that class. Do you have any suggestions?" He asked.

Deidara felt his brain short circut. Sai was seriously asking him for art advice?

So, I know I said I was rewriting this, and I am. But I wanted to post what I was able to manage writing for this chapter before I started to low-key resent my earlier writing.

Fun fact, I was writing a ShikaNeji story as a side priject from this and completely forgot about it lmao

I figured I'd publish this to somewhat kinda give you guys closure before I rewrite the whole entire thing.

For even more closure cause I don't know if I'm going to keep the ending or not,

I originally had the ending be where all of them had their graduation and everything. Came up with the idea during Covid and it was probably cause my graduation got ripped from me lmfao

Thank you once more to everyone who read this story and was so supportive throughout everything. I hope the rewrite receives the same amount of love.

Until next time,

Take care everyone💚💚💚
