─"BEEP BEEP BEEP!" the quiet parking garage was filled with the sound of your expensive car's horn.
"i hate -BEEP- my -BEEP- life -BEEEEEEP-." you muttered to yourself while banging your head against the steering wheel.
your head peaked up your car window to see if anyone had witnessed your small midlife crisis but let out a sigh of relief when you looked around to see the parking garage empty.
the car engine roared to life once you started the car. music filled the small empty space slightly calming your nerves.
your mind began to wander as you began your short drive home.

highschool surprisingly didn't suck.
you began your high school experience at karasuno high with your best friend yachi hitoka at your side.
taking a glance at you most people could immediately tell you were complete opposites.
you dressed dark and menacing while yachi opted for brighter more pastel colors.
most people were scared at your ominous presence while the same people found yachi's presence easier to approach and warmer.
this wasn't typically your nature but you knew how easily people would take advantage of yachi so you decided to be her scary guard dog.
you were both scouted by kiyoko to be the karasuno's volleyball team managers where you both began to blossom.
once you were officially part of the team and started to spend all of you decided to retire your guard dog personality and started to grow more into the personality you have today.
although sometimes, only when needed, you would let that scary personality leak through.
you knew of kenma in highschool after watching him play many matches against kasasuno.
he was interesting to say the least.
you were sure he hated you from how much he stared at you but you weren't quite sure.
you had a hunch that it had something to do with you being particularly close to hinata and he was jealous which made you chuckle.
now looking back on it years in the future you wondered if that was true.

before you knew it you had arrived inside your penthouse building. quickly greeting the person at the desk you rushed to get up to your penthouse and visit with your daughter.
it was a long day and you knew your daughter would be able to somehow manage to make you feel better.
there weren't any loud noises coming from the inside which made you equally nervous and relieved.
"sage!" you yelled into the living area once you took off your shoes and locked the door behind you.
anxiousness filled your bones when you didn't hear a response but all of the tension left once you saw your daughter peacefully asleep on the couch.
you took a blanket from the side of the couch and crouched down to give her a kiss on the forehead.
a smile took over your face once you saw that she had made you her famous mac and cheese with your favorite type of red wine placed right next to it.
yep. she always knew how to make you feel better.
