Random Book of Randomness

So I went caving in 1.18...

(this is just me messing around and having fun, don’t take it too seriously)

So, Minecraft 1.18. The Caves and Cliffs update. This has already been out for a while, but my phone didn’t have enough storage space until now

This story consists of:
Ch 1 - Iron and Redstone
Ch 2 - Stupid Skeletons
Ch 3 - Diamond!
Ch 4 - The Slime Attack
Ch 5 - Going back up
Ch 6 - Disaster
Ch 7 - Mission: Find Items
Ch 8 - Mission Accomplished
Ch 9 - The End
Conclusion

CHAPTER 1 - IRON AND REDSTONE
The story starts with me needing more iron. I looked for a big cave, and eventually I found a big cave. Excited to explore the cave, I fought off all the nearby mobs and placed down torches. I also managed to find some redstone, which was cool (dunno why I mined it, I know nothing about redstone-)

CHAPTER 2 - STUPID SKELETONS
Either way, it was when I fought with a skeleton things started to take a turn. I was mining iron, not realising how close to the edge I was, and one hit form a skeleton made me fall down. I was scared and sure I’d lose my fifteen levels, but I landed in water. I was very close to get pushed into lava, but fortunately I avoided that.

CHAPTER 3 - DIAMOND!
It was there I found my first diamond. Of course, I mined it, and soon the beautiful blue thing was in my inventory.

CHAPTER 4 - THE SLIME ATTACK
But then a whole slime army attacked me. I fought for my life, and I survived. With one heart. I ran into a corner, ate a few melons and started lighting up the place.

CHAPTER 5 - GOING BACK UP
I took the water back up to where the skeleton had pushed me. Out of nowhere, multiple skeletons appeared and almost killed me. With half a heart, I ran to a corner where a wandering trader stood and took cover behind them as I regenerated.

CHAPTER 6 - DISASTER
As I made my way up to the surface, I took one wrong step when I was going to land on a block and took too much fall damage.

CHAPTER 7 - MISSION: FIND ITEMS
I respawned at my beautiful base, made out of a bed, crafting table, furnace and some crops. I was panicking, since I had not checked my coords at any point in the base.

CHAPTER 8 - MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
I found the items, except from the torches.

CHAPTER 9 - THE END
I tried to make my way back up, but since I had no torches I fell from a high place.

CONCLUSION
Minecraft 1.18 caving is beautiful, but it’s scarier, deadlier and harder. Do I miss Minecraft 1.17? Yes, at least when it comes to caving. Sure, the caves are spectacular - but other than that they suck.

So Minecraft 1.17 players, don’t be sad cause you don’t have 1.18, enjoy it while you can
