the lovers ballad

24 5 2

And if god bestow hardships across her path
Whether grand or small
Let me bathe in my own sacrilegious contempt
Angels breath in wisps of anguish
My North Star blanketing stone peaks
May your beauty pull the epics from out the bards mouths
Unstring the harps anchoring their bellies
For they will always utter your name
Between silvered teeth and starlight spheres
As long as the earth is spinning
My golden one
With satellite veins
And a divine like cadence
If I were ever granted a second chance at life
I'd love you twice over
Across spans of eons
And eons
Till I could recognize you with my eyes shut
Till they named a constellation in your image
My darling, I'd love you forevermore
