When we get to the place there were skeletons all over as you get closer. "They have taste." I say sarcastically.
"I can do this." Clary mumbles to herself.
"Yeah, you can. You're Clary freakin' fray. You can do anything." Simon says trying to motivate.
"Well, we'll see you in hell when we die." Liv says amusingly.
"All right, hold on." Jace says to Simon stoping him.
"Surprise, surprise. No mundanes allowed, just like in the training room, right? Wrong! I've seen every horror mover ever made and the funny best friend who gets left behind... dead man."
"Not funny, so you can't be the funny best friend and you're always going to be a walking dead man." I say to Simon as Jace says.
"Your not that funny. But by all means go ahead." Of course the minute you enter, you'll die." I chuckle on my hand.
"Problem is, now I don't trust you." Simon says in a high pitched voice.
"He's not lying." Alec says.
"He was before." Isabelle says.
"The rune energy in the City of Bones will kill any mundane who dares to enter, so, please..." Alec says.
"The brothers creep me out." Isabelle states.
"Simon creeps me out." I whispered. It felt necessary.
"I'll mind the mundane." Isabelle smiles.
"Your sacrifice is noted, Izzy." Jace says walking.
"Talk about sacrifice. I'm missing a financial analysis class." Simon whines.
"I can't be here anymore, so, Jace, I'm gonna mind the perimeter." Alec says.
"I'll go too." I say speed walking to him.
As we walk we don't say anything. Just enjoy each other's presence. Wait nope that just me. I feel my necklace prickle my skin.
