They ran on the grey void, which was slowly becoming a white.
At the end of the void lay a portal. It's frame made of a bright dust, packed together into the shape of a grand mountain, the inside of it was an equally as bright blue. (Get the reference?)
After a few minutes of running they got to the portal and ran through as quick as they could.
Fortunately for them, undead like the guards are not welcome in the land of the living and soon lose their minds.
