This Authors Note is just a small message to say thank you.

The Secret of the Vivace Code now has just over 5k reads, if I'm completely honest I never thought it would get this many.

So thank you to my readers, voters and commenters; you guys honestly make my day sometimes.

So, because I like asking questions (I really do) I'm going to do just that.

Firstly, Do any of you have a favourite word? I have several favourite words, some are relatively sophisticated and some are not, however they all very satisfying to say out loud:

Isn't melanoid a lovely word? Melanoid. Love it.

Tenacious, tenaciously, tenaciousness. Lovely.

Plodge.

Amorous. Lovely, lovely, lovely.

Secondly, Twizzlers.

What even is it with Twizzlers?

They look all nice and flavourful when you see them sat on the shelf in the candy isle of Walmart but when you actually eat one? Good God they're vile. Being British I've never tried one before, as you can probably tell, I was unpleasantly surprised. They taste like someone's taken a rubber and marinated it in weak dilute juice.

So my question is: Does anyone else feel this way or are my taste buds just deteriorating early? I'm honestly very confused.
