QUIRKS
bernie is a runner, and it shows. his lower body is very built. he also has a lisp.

PERSONALITY
bubbly, blonde, bisexual, golden-retriever type, you know the one. bernie is so excitable and friendly, he's extremely open but that can also make him intimidating.
he's quite a sensitive dude, very aware of others and their feelings, will go out of his way for his friends - a bit of a people-pleaser. however he's also got surprisingly thick skin, though it's not clear if this is because he just doesn't follow interaction, or chooses to ignore it.
despite being a people-person, though, and a complete extrovert, bernie often struggles in social situations. he enjoys socialising, but occasionally it can make him feel a little dumb.
if he didn't have the appearance of one, you'd never know he was an athlete. bernie is also extremely clumsy outside of his element, to a point where he jokes about his 'curse'. he's able to laugh about it, and he's honestly just glad it doesn't affect him as much when he's running.

TRAITS
cutie-pie

BACKGROUND
bernie's childhood was nothing special. he grew up with both his parents and two siblings in an average household. however, while his siblings were academically gifted, the only thing bernie excelled at was sports. and when he ran, it got him praise he otherwise missed, so he pursued it.
he loves running, but sometimes he does feel a little locked into it - what else could he possibly do?

STRENGTHS
athletic tests - stamina, speed, not so much strength...
introductions
following orders - he's not a leader
lightening the atmosphere

WEAKNESSES
critical thinking
academic skill
strategy
leadership

FEARS
loneliness
uselessness

FATAL FLAW
naivete. not always a bad thing, but bernie is too trusting for his own good. he sees the best in people, always, and while that's admirable, it'll bite him sooner or later.
