"No way, even if it's impossible, they're all coming. We can figure it out!" Emma said, determination in her voice

My eyes softened

"What?!" Ray said, shocked

"I don't know what's for us on the outside, but leaving part of our family behind isn't an option! I want Conny to be the last one they take. Never again, I won't loose anyone else like that. If there isn't a place out there for humans to live, we'll carve one out for ourselves! Together we'll change the world! Thank you Ray for helping me to understand. We're planning an excape where we get everyone out, im not bending on this. I've decided" Emma spoke, grabbing Ray's hands before continuing

"You have to come to grips with my plan Ray! So stop jabbering and help us!"

So open minded, it's Admirable

Norman began to laugh as Ray shook her off, looking at me as I looked down at me feet before redirecting his attention at Norman

"How can you laugh?! Her plan is suicide!" Ray spoke

"Were leaving with everyone and that's it! I won't agree to anything else! I wont! I won't! I wont!" Emma flapped her arms around

I smiled but it wasn't noticeable.

"Someone should knock some sense into her- she's unreasonable!" Ray pointed at Emma, looking at Norman while taking side glances at me

"Yeah! Totally! I'm glad she's her old cheerful self" Norman smiled

"Your missing my point Norman! Stop her or you'll both die! Of course you knew all that from the very start didn't you?!" Ray stumbled

"You didn't see...the way she cried. That night, I thought she was crying because she was terrified, I know now that I was wrong. She wasn't afraid of dying, It was the thought of her family dying that horrified her. She's so amazing, to be in that situation and worry about protecting others" Norman spoke

"Please! She's my little sister!" Tanjiro cried out

I turned away lightly, my heart ached

"Its a lost cause! The th- four of us could make it!" Ray spoke, grabbing my hand

"Y/n, talk some sense into them-!" He spoke

"Ray, I think your the one that needs some sense to be knocked into" I spoke lightly still looking at the ground

He let go of my hand gasping

"You too?! Taking everyone is like making a boat out of mud! You should be scared, it nothing to be ashamed of, don't let feelings cloud your vision, well die!" Ray yelled at Norman, and I assume myself as well

"I can see clearly. I want to build a boat out of mud as well!" Norman smiled, stretching his arms out

"Don't be a fool! Your supposed to be different, the cool headed one who weighs the options! What gives huh?!" Ray grabbed Norman by the collar

"Because of Emma, and how I'd always do anything, to put a smile on her face!" Norman smiled as Ray let him go

"You've gone crazy- what if Emma dies because of it?!" Ray asked

"That won't happen, I will make sure of it! I'll do anything, whatever it takes! Look on the bright side, I've always been able to accomplish what I set my mind to, if you bake mud, you can make a vessel, so a boat made out of mud wouldn't necessarily sink" Norman smiled again
