What could go wrong?

Aiden had his first play date ever
today and Josie was kinda nervous about it.
It was one of Josie's coworkers from the hospital who had a son that was only a month older than Aiden but they both happen to be human. Josie was afraid Aiden would accidentally siphon from Josie or use his powers.

He still had some of Hopes magic
stored from when he siphoned from her the other day and he has been using it on them when he wanted to get his way. But it was one thing for him to use his powers on Hope or herself but it was another for him to use it on her human friend and expose the whole supernatural community.

But luckily Josie had the best wife ever
and came up with a solution for their little problem.

"Okay so I've been talking with my Aunt Freya
and she and I brainstormed a solution" Hope said as she walked in the room with something in her hand.

"What is it?" Josie said as she put Aiden into
his outfit for the playdate.

Hope lifted her hand showing a small bracelet
"This will block his powers as long as he is wearing it, we used it when I was little and my powers were out of control it should work no problem- plus I spelled his name on it look how cute" Hope showed her.

"Yes! this is why I married you, you are a genius" Josie smiled and kissed Hopes cheek.

"Wow and here I thought you married me because of my amazing looks and fun personality" Hope raised a hand to her heart.

"Maybe those too" Josie winked at her and
picked up Aiden.

Hope then put the tiny bracelet around Aiden's wrist which he didn't seem to like and he took it off.

"Well that didn't work," Josie said.

"We'll just spell it on so little man over here doesn't take it off hm?" She looked at Aiden and placed a kiss on his cheek making him giggle.

Hope had got called into work by Alaric for another monster sighting so it was just Josie and Aiden going to the play date.

When she pulled up to her friend Jade's house she saw Jade come out of the house holding her son Brandon.

"You're early."

"Hope got called into work and we were getting bored so I thought we'd just come early I hope that's okay."

"That's more than okay! come in I set up a playpen in the backyard for the boys."

Josie nodded and followed Jade to the back where they both set their sons in the playpen and she sat back and watched as Aiden crawled up to one of the toys and handed it to Brandon.

"Your son is adorable," Jade said as she came out of the house and handed Josie a glass of wine.

"He is" Josie smiled "I'm so glad he didn't get Hope's antisocial gene," Josie said jokingly.

"It looks like they are getting along we should definitely have another play date in the future-"
Jade was then cut off by a crying Brandon who was trying to reach for his you that was now floating in the air.

Josie's eyes widened and she looked over at Jade who was looking at the floating toy in disbelief.

"H-how," Jade said.

"I have to make a call-" Josie blurted out and went into the living room taking out her phone and immediately calling Hope.

"Hey babe," Hope said as she answered.

"I need you here right now."

Hope looked into Jade's eyes as she compelled her "you are gonna forget everything you saw here today all you know is that Aiden and Brandon had a good time and you might do this again in the future."

Jade nodded and picked Brandon up and went inside.

"Well at least we know he is definitely your son," Josie said as Hope turned to face Josie and Aiden who was sleeping in Josie's arms.

Hope raised her eyebrow and moved her hand gesturing her to go on.

"He's already trying to get himself into trouble."

"I did not get in trouble a lot-" Hope said defensively.

"Oh please in high school you did nothing but get in trouble."

"I will not stand for this slander."

Josie rolled her eyes "let's go home" she smiled.
