From what Gojo had seen. Nanami and Yuji looked exhausted and beaten up, must've been a tough mission. However the young student also look ... distraught? Upset? Why?
He thought that the human disfiguration has saddened him and simply shrugged it off.
He was wrong.
The report Gojo was given by Nanami and Yuji gave him a realization that Yuji was upset from something else. One of the human disfiguration was a friend Yuji has befriended alongside his mother who had died because one of Sukuna's fingers was in her purse.
Taking it upon himself, Gojo bought sweets, new movies, little gifts just to cheer up his student.
"Yuuuji-kun! Your favorite Sensei is here!" Gojo called out once he entered the basement. Walking down the stairs he ears the TV was still on with a horror movie playing on screen.
However the pink hair was popping out of the other side of the couch, Yuji was silent as well and the cursed doll wasn't movie.
Walking over to the couch and looking down, he saw his pink haired student sleeping with the cursed doll in his arms as a pillow.
"Hmm." Turning off the TV, he gently placed the bags on a table and knelt down in for the of Yuji.
Poking his cheek, he softly said.
"Yuuuji-kuuun."
Poking his cheeks some more, Yuji fluttered his eyes open and yawned.
"Ah- Sensei, hi. Sorry- is there a mission?" Yuji almost jumped but Gojo placed his hand on the boy's shoulder, gently and smiled.
"No mission, Yuji-kun. Nothing's happened but if youre sleepy then go to bed. That's more comfortable. No?"
"I guess." Yuji rubbed his eye and got up.
"So it's okay if I go to sleep?"
"Of course. Also congratulations on taming the doll." Gojo grinned.
Yuji looked down at the sleeping cursed doll and chuckled.
"Yeah, thanks. It got better (Yawns) G'night, Sensei." Yuji waved and went upstairs to his room.
"Sweet dreams, Yuji-kun!"

The notification dinged and Gojo took out his phone from his pocket. Without unlocking his phone, he saw who sent a message and he groaned.
"Great. Just great."
THE NEXT DAY...
"Good morning, Yuji-kun!" Gojo said brightly.
"Good morning, Sensei." Yuji smiled. His eyes landed on the many sweets on the table.
"Wow, Sensei. That's a lot of sweets and- are those gifts? What's the occasion?"
"Nothing in particular but decided to treat my student since he worked so hard! Here!"
Looking into the gifts Gojo got him, he brightened.
A keychain with Two Pokémon's.
Two pairs of brand shoes.
A pair of great quality headphones.
A big bag with the hunger games mark on it.
"Thank you, Sensei! These are so cool!"
"Your welcome, Yuji-kun!"
