You looked at me, before engulfing me in a warm hug. 

"Leave that dumb bastard. He doesn't know what he lost." 

My tears stained his suit, freshly pressed and starched. 

The scent of musk wafted through my nose, it was so comforting.

We sat there, on my chaise, in each other's arms. 

I didn't want to let go.

"Get some sleep darling, we'll go out tomorrow. Your treat." 

He smiled.

The sun would be jealous by his luster. Pearly teeth, expressing a smile shinier than the rarest pearls. 

"You have a new start. Live for yourself. Forget him. We all love you."

I nodded. 

I was forgetting that disgrace of man quickly.

Because my thoughts were all of you.
