CHAPTER II

(Y/N) POV

I bit nervously on my lips I knew she was not only disappointed with me but angry. As my mom parked, and then got out of the car walking into the house waiting for me

"What did i tell you about hanging around those greaser boys" said my mom

"If i catch you hanging out with them or getting into more trouble i swear to god (Y/N) you will never see the light again" she continued

"But mom their good people thier my friends" I interject wanting to stand up for my friends-- no family actually or that's at least what they felt like to me

"No they aren't... Look im not in the mood to fight right now go to your room we will talk about this later" my mom says

"why are you acting like this (pause) ever since dad died your being such a bitch gosh its like everything i do you have to critique, its so annoying" I say in a angry tone

I turn around to walk up the stairs not wanting to wait around for an answer

As Im walking up the stairs i hear my mom say "gosh how am I suppose to handle her when shes always disappointing me" I look down with my eyes teary ready to burst at any given moment

I reach my room and laid down on my bed

(WAIT DID YOU ACTUALLY THINK IM STAYING HERE...HELL NAH)

"man fuck this" I whisper to my self as i start to get up and open my window looking down "won't be too bad of a fall"

*1...2...* i counted to myself ready to jump *...3*

I landed it, not to brag though.

As I am walking to the vacant lot where jonny usually sleeps when his parents are fighting. I began to remember all the memories of my dad before he died.

I remembered how he would console me when i got sadhe would always say *"Dawn will always come so cheer up"* I never knew the exact meaning of it but it always made me feel better

Whenever I tried to talk to my mom about him she would always brush me off"FORGET ABOUT HIM ALREADY HES GONE (Y/N)" that was the most harsh thing I heard her say when I tried to push the topic of my dad one time.

-SHORT TIME SKIP-

I soon reached the lot and saw jonny, dally, and ponyboy about to leave "where are yall going?" I scaring them a little

"Oh hey (Y/N) we are going to the movies wanna join" ponyboy greeted while the two other boys just waved.

"Sure but I have to do one thing before we go " i replied

I walked up behind to dally and slapped the back of his head "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR (Y/N)" he yelped holding his head

  "YOU LEFT ME YOU ASSHOLE I KNOW I TOLD YOU TO RUN SO YOU WON'T GET IN TROUBLE AGAIN BUT I DIDN'T EXPECT YOU TO ACTUALLY RUN" I yelled back

"oh riiigghht my bad" he said stretching out the right part. I scoffed while rolling my eyes and then glared at him

"OK OFF TO THE MOVIES" I yelled starting to walk off with them following behind me play fighting and teasing each other

A/N: I lowkey feel like i didn't explain her relationship with her mom or dad very well so i might add flashbacks in later chapters and if you are confused with the timeline just comment here and ill explain(also how do people write long chapters I need to know
