"Why does she always stare at me like that?" I ask.

"Who?" Zendaya asks.

"Alexa." I say.

"I think she wants to kiss you. Looks like she has a crush." Zendaya says.

Are you gonna kiss me?

"What's that?" I ask.

"You've never had a crush before?!" Zendaya asks.

"You know I was homeschooled all the way through college." I say.

"She was bullied all day at school. She just sat in Principal Howard's office all day playing solitaire. How do you level up to 328 in 5 hours?" Zendaya says.

"Maybe it's best if she switches back to homeschool." Mom says.

"I'll go talk to her." Zendaya says.

Zendaya walks in the room and I look up.

"Is it because I don't know where my birth parents are?" I ask.

"It could be for a lot of reasons. It could be because your adopted or it could be because of you're Autistic. I think they missing out on having a pretty cool friend." She says.

I smile and hug her.

"A crush is when you have feelings for someone. Intimate feelings." She says.

"I have a crush on Alexa." I say.

"This is great! I'm sure she feels the same." She says.

"Don't tell her." I say.

"Hey, Y/n." Alexa says walking over to us.

"Uh, a hey Zendaya would've been nice." Zendaya says.

"You didn't even let me finish." Alexa says.

We laugh and she smiles.

"Can I get a ride home? I don't like to drive at night." Alexa says.

'Cause you're taking me home
It's four in the morning

"Y-Yeah sure." I say.

"C'mon dufus." Zendaya says pushing me.

We leave and I get in the driver seat.

"You don't want to sit up front?" Alexa asks as Zendaya gets in the back.

"She scares me when she drives." Zendaya says.

Alexa laughs and sits in the passenger seat.

10 minutes later...

"I think she fell asleep." Alexa says looking in the backseat.

"No surprise." I say.

"Why is your hand shaking?" Alexa asks.

"I get nervous sometimes while driving. Been driving for a over a decade and it still doesn't get easier." I say.

"I know the feeling." Alexa says.

She holds my hand and I smile.

"10 and fucking 2!" Zendaya shouts.
