Which is a strange fascination
As it's neither here nor there.
So where is this land of meh
That we often love to frequent
This place that gets us wobbly
And feeling slightly bent.
Its not as low as the bottom
But definitely not on top
There are no tears to cry
But also no excitement to pop.
Its a funny middle ground
A limbo if you like
That can be quite dangerous
If complacency hits a spike.
The glass isn't half empty
Nor is it half full
Its just kind of sitting there
On the window sill.
Ambition is sitting on pause
Motivation is somewhere over there
Reaction is slow to call
Lazy is love and care.
