You glared at each other and gripped your weapons as you slowly got up. The Firelight leader raised his club and let out a cry as he ran towards you. You wiped the blood from your mouth before you charged towards him as well

The Enforcers made way for you as you walked into the scene. You soon made eye contact with the little girl who had cuffs on her wrists, and tears rolling down her face

Marcus turned to you with crossed arms and a scowl, yet he stepped aside when you got on one knee in front of the girl, giving her a soft smile

Marcus: This is a waste of time

Once you confirmed she wasn't harmed, you looked over your shoulder

You: You as the Sheriff should know this better than anyone, Marcus...

Suddenly, you were shoved against the wall, and a bandaged hand was placed next to your head by the smirking culprit as she closed the distance with you

What could be seen as this sudden act of dominance earned a chuckle from you, before you reached for her and caressed her cheek. 

Smiling herself, Vi leaned into your touch as her eyes closed out of instinct

Without taking their eyes off of you, the Enforcers that remained took out their batons, standing between you and the exit

Slowly, you got back up and stared at the group before spitting out some blood, and with your guard up once again, you sighed

You returned your attention to the little girl as you got rid of her cuffs. The objects made a loud clang the moment they fell to the ground

Both the Zaunite and the Sheriff were shocked by your action, but you just handed the girl a coin with a smile

You: You just gotta be able to tell them apart
