Océane is adopted by Governor Swann and considers Elizabeth like her sister.

We were 8 years old. Elizabeth and I were singing a song about pirates on the boat. I told her this song, it was my favorite. I always dreamed about pirates, in fact I wanted to become one. Gibbs, a crewman came and said it was a curse. I couldn't care less. Norrington looked at us disgusted.
"pirates are vile and dissolute creatures, the lot of them."
"but not all of them sir", I replied
Elizabeth looked afraid when he said they deserved to die. Then, I saw a little boy in the water, laying on a piece of wood.
"Elizabeth look!"
"There's a boy in the water!",Eli screamed
The crew hurried up and put him aboard. While the navigators looked at the ships on fire, me and eli got to the boy. The boy suddenly woke up.
"it's okay. My name is Elizabeth Swann."
"and I am Océane!"
"will turner", he managed to say.
After that he slept.Eli saw a medallion and took it.
"what are you doing eli?"
"he's a pirate!"
Elizabeth kept the medallion all this time. I tried to convince her to give him back but she refused. I think she kept it because she didn't wanted Will to be a pirate. I was adopted. My mom died when giving birth. My dad, I have no fucking idea. The governor adopted me. Elizabeth is his only child and she doesn't have a mother too. That's what make us close, and she is like my sister. I have short, curly brown hair and green-blue eyes. I'm older than Elizabeth by two years

I woke up to the sound of the waves. God I wish I could just get the hell away from here. I'm so tired of trying to be a perfect princess like Elizabeth. I don't want to be like her, our lives are so boring! I went to her room and we began to talk about boys. She really liked Will but Father wanted her to marry Norrington, which I think is really gross. Governor knocked at the door.
"girls?? Are you awake??"
The maids came with a gift in their hands.
"I have a gift for you.", Governor said.
"me?",Elizabeth asked
"of course you. Did he ever offered a gift to me when it wasn't my birthday? No.", I said sarcastically.
My adoptive father looked at me with disappointment.
"yes Elizabeth"
She opened and it was a dress. I let out a small ew.
"what's the occasion?"
"captain norrington promotion ceremony."
The maids were really struggling to put her the corset, it was so funny.
"what are you laughing at Océane?"
"erm nothing eli", I replied, trying to not laugh.
I started getting ready too but I was not as fancy as my sister, since I hate dresses. My dress:

I was ready before my sister so I headed downstairs to see Will. I ran up to him and hug him.
"heyyy"
"hi Océane!You look beautiful."
"aw thanks"
Then Elizabeth got down the stairs with her yellow puffy dress on and she looked ravishing. She was wayyy more pretty then me.
"I had a dream about you last night!", Eli said to will
At those words I chucked a little.
"about the day we met!"
Ahhhh. Anyways I ship them. Will was so polite and kind. I lost track of the conversation and then Elizabeth walked out with attitude without saying a word.
"sorry pal, not your day maybe next time WILL be better. HAHA"
He looked at me not catching the joke.
"never mind bye"
"bye"
We got into the cart and we arrived at the ceremony. We were waiting in line and it was really hot. Elizabeth had a little fan but not me. I didn't want it because every girl was using one. Then commodore came to us.
"Océane can I have a word with you?"
Elizabeth looked at me with a weird expression. Jealousy I think?
"of course"
We walked a little and he asked
"if I may, why are you not dressed like Elizabeth?"
"because I don't like dresses, so this is the best option I could find.. Why do you care?"
He got a little closer to me.
"well if I could choose I would definitely pick you. But I'm forced to marry Elizabeth."
It was a little shocking so I walked back without a word. Then eli and him went to talk. Eli didn't seemed fine so I came to help her. At this moment she fell down the castle, and landed a few meters down, in the water. Norrington didn't even notice.
"Elizabeth!!!!" I screamed
Norrington was ready to jump but it was too dangerous. Without hesitation I ran out of the building and to the port.
