The legend of Vox Naruto ch 3

The night before the banquet Percy was as usual having a nightmare reliving how hed lost everything in his life to the Briarwoods. Down in the Basement Naruto was also having a nightmare. One that was different than his usual nightmares where an undead Amara blamed him for her death and tried to kill him alongside Duke Venmire. This dream was worse.

He was back inside the maze, hed just lost half of his new family. Keyleth his little sister figure was burnt to a crisp by a trap Venmire had created. Scanlan was eaten by a giant spider, and Percy was killed by the Briarwoods. Naruto held the dying body of Pike in his arms trying to will healing chakra into her. But whatever he did didnt help. "Im so sorry. I'm sorry. This is all my fault." he said crying his eyes out as Vex and Vax were on one side of him with Grog on the other slamming his axe into the head of a minotaur while the twins were keeping a group of giant scorpions at bay. Then a stinger hit Vax in the head piercing through his skull. The minotaur was killed by Grog but too late as Venmire had snuck up behind it and killed the Goliath after hed killed the minotaur. Naruto took his hands off the dead cleric and grabbed Vex before she was hit with a stinger. The half elf tearing up at the sight of her dead twin. Once theyd gotten far enough away she beat on Narutos chest in frustration and anger. "This is your fault! None of this wouldve happened if we hadnt met you! Now everyone is dead! Because of you theyre all dead! I hate you Naruto! Go and die!"

Naruto woke up in a cold sweat and sighed. He decided hed just wake up now and get back to training. Since their battle with Brimscythe, Naruto realized hed have to release all of his power restriction seals hed placed on himself after hed first come here. He'd placed them after realizing how weak the enemies were compared to back in the elemental nations. The past few days hed been training in the basement hed renovated for the purpose to get himself back to his full power. Upstairs a few hours later Keyleth comes dancing into the kitchen fines with flowers blooming followed behind her. She smiled happily as she said. "Good morning everybody." Everybody groaned out a response as theyd been woken up by Narutos training. "Oh, good morning Vax." Keyleth said to the Rouge as he held some bread in his mouth and carrying a plate of oatmeal. It was Grogs turn to cook and hed just made Oatmeal as he didnt feel like trying too hard. As Vax went to sit down Grog tagged him in the balls with his fist causing the half elf to drop his plate, cup, and bread and fall to the floor as Grog said with a grin. "Seven to two." Vax responded with a groan as he got off the floor and into a chair. "I never agreed to this stupid game!" Percy sighed and said. "Must you?" Scanlan who was eating a chicken drumstick for some reason said. "We cant all be aloof tight-asses Derollo." Percy responded. "I'm simply suggesting you could all benefit from some well-practiced restraint." He looked to Vex who was giving Trinket a morning cuddle as she said. "Emotions arent meant to be bottled up. Maybe you should cut loose once in a while." They then heard a bang and a crash along with loud swearing. Pike concerned for their new friends well-being said. "Should we make sure hes alright? When was the last time hes come up for food or anything?" Grog waved his hand in dismissal and said." Leave him be. He's mad he wasnt strong enough to kill that dragon the first time we fought him. Now hes taken all his sealy things off and needs to get back to ummm what was the word he said? Oh yeah, Kage level." The others just rolled their eyes. Grog though smart at times didnt understand sometimes people needed other people. Vex stood and walked out of the kitchen grabbing a pitcher of water. "I'll get him up." she said softly trinket following behind her. She made her way downstairs to see a glowing orange Naruto attacking clones using everything he had at his disposal. Samehada was in a corner gurgling in frustration at her wielder being an idiot. The giant executioner blade Naruto had killed Brimscythe with was stuck blade first into the ground near the kiba blades. A needle like blade was stabbed into a wall while Naruto was using what looked like a giant bladed fan against several Clones wielding strange single bladed swords. Naruto roared in anger as he used one hand to make hand signs before swinging the fan like a club and shouting. "Futon: Great Break through." A strong wind issued from the Fan before the blade killed the clones in one swoop. Naruto dropped the fan and said. "Okay thats it for the Gunbai. Now to try using two blades at once." He said before a pitcher of water was poured over his head. He shivered from the cold turning about to shout when Vex was standing there an irritated look on her face. "You do realize that all this training isnt helping you heal better? You also need to eat. We havent seen you in days." She put her hand to his head and stroked his cheek. "We're all worried about you. I know youre mad that you werent strong enough but we wouldve died twice over without you and you know it. Now come get some food and shower. Tonight is the banquet and were all needed there." Naruto sighed and nodded as he grabbed a towel and wiped himself off before putting all his weapons into the tattoo seals on his body. This was the first time Vex had seen Naruto shirtless and she wasnt disappointed by what she saw. He wasnt as muscular as Grog or the meathead mercenaries around Taldorei but he did look good. Tattoos and scars littered the Kitsunes body. One of them made her wince as she saw both sides of it. She saw the front first. It looked like someone had tried to punch a hole through Narutos chest. Once she saw the back she saw theyd succeeded. She wondered how he was still alive after having his heart stabbed. The she saw words scarred into his back. Monster, Demon, and what looked like stab wounds and cuts from those ninja weapons he used. On his Left bicep near his shoulder, he had a black tattoo that looked like a leaf. On his chest over his right pec was a silver fox. But the one she noticed was what he had called the seal that once held the demon he had inside of him. It was a spiral with foreign characters around the spiral. Naruto turned and smirked at her giving her a foxy grin he said. "See something you like?" He winked at her before heading into his room to grab fresh clothes. He then tensed and said. "Someone has entered my wards." Vex smiled and said. "Well, theyre not enemies or else wed hear your traps go off. Now lets go greet them." She then sniffed and said. "You need to wash first because you stink like a dead fish." She went upstairs as Naruto went to clean up. As he walked up toweling his hair wearing just a pair of pants, he saw Allura speaking with the others and saw the door to the kitchen laying on the floor in pieces. His eye twitched as he knew hed have to fix it. "Oh Naruto, I was just telling the others that the banquet is tonight. I see that you've decided to clean up early." Naruto just smiled sheepishly before Pike said. "Hes been training nonstop since we killed the dragon. This is the first time any of aside from Grog have seen him in days." Grog was trying to get up from his spot on the floor where he lay after Vax hit him straight in the balls. "I told them and I know you know this but we need you to be at your best. Dignitaries from all over Taldorei will be there tonight so please dress appropriately." Naruto smirked before Allura gave him a look then said. "No kabuki make-up! Never again!" The blond snapped his fingers before stretching and heading into the kitchen. After Allura left Pike followed the kitsune into the kitchen with the others behind her. "Hey Naruto, we do have some questions you havent answered us yet. We dont know everything about each other but we do want to know why youre training so hard. Also, when we were at the palace and i saw you crying, what did you mean by never having a home?" Naruto scratched the back of his head as he sniffed Grogs oatmeal before adding cinnamon and other spices to it. "Well, I guess I can tell you that I'm an orphan. My parents died the night I was born. My mother died during childbirth while my father died sealing the kyuubi into me." He then told them the entire story of his life including fighting Kaguya and ending up in this world. The only thing he left out was how he had been married and how he lost his wife. He finished his breakfast and said. "Im gonna head to Gilmores to grab supplies for tomorrow. I'll be back before its time to go." Once he got back, he went and got dressed and made sure Grog wasnt drunk and Scanlan hadnt dressed like a manwhore. "Do you have to wear the codpiece?" He asked and Scanlan scoffed. "The codpiece completes the outfit sir and I am offended that you think I shouldnt wear it to impress the ladies of Taldorei." Naruto sighed and said. "Is it magic?" Scanlan smiled and nodded. Naruto rolled his eyes and winked as he undid the buttons on his waistcoat showing the scores of seals filled with weapons. "I put a big ass dagger in my boot too." He started to tie his bow tie as everybody else came down looking their best. They got to the palace and Percy said with a scowl. "Remember what we practiced, be reserved be charming, protocol. For god sakes Naruto why are you wearing that!?" Percy sighed as Naruto was wearing a half mask made of fabric that covered the lower half of his face and a hat that covered his hair. Grog and Vax curtsied holding up their waistcoat and kilt respectively when Percy said Protocol "I never show my face even at these fancy parties Percy. Also please call me Kitsune in front of people. I have an image to maintain." he said before eyeing how beautiful Vex looked in her dress. She noticed him staring and gave him a smirk before he turned his head. Percy groaned and said. "Ugh just follow my lead." Vex saw Naruto's tie wasnt tied right and said. "Here let me fix it." She fixed his bow tie and said. "There very handsome now." She grinned at him but couldnt tell if he was blushing under the mask. As they walked in at the coat check room a clerk said with a lisp. "Thowwy. If you bwought weapons they have to be checked." Grog dropped his axe blade first onto the check desk with everyone else dropping their weapons onto the table. Naruto for his part just took twelve different shuriken and kunai from his pockets and pulled a small katana from his back. He then propped his foot on the counter and pulled out a half foot long dagger from his boot and stabbed it into the table. "There, thats everything." he said winking at Scanlan who smiled. They entered the main area of the party as the announcer said. "From Kraghammer, Cadem Greyspine. From Emon, Vox Machina? Also from Emon Lord Kitsune!" Naruto just shook his head and sighed as Scanlan said. "Seriously? Is that all you got? Allow me. Ahem, Vox Machina! Champions of justice. Hunters of dragons. Destroyers of chastiteeee." He was pulled away by Naruto and Percy who flicked his pointed ear. Percy leaned down by Scanlan and said. "Right lets stick together. Follow me for formal greetings and or you know do whatever." He said the last part as everybody separated from him. Naruto spoke with a few different dignitaries he knew, getting hit on by a rather drunk daughter of a duke before he decided to stick with some of his friends. Percy had a smile on his face as he said how fantastic the party was. Naruto smiled under his mask as he watched Vax and Keyleth dance and Scanlan perv on a rather straight emissary from Westruun." Diplomats are here from all over TalDorei, Fordaxia, Kaimal, Westruun, even..." He was interrupted as the announcer said. "From Whitestone, Lord Sylas and Lady Delilah Briarwood." Percy turned his head and his eyes widened at the names and the sight of the two people that ruined his life. Narutos eyes widened too. He slowly and quietly made a blood clone that was henged as a fly. He gave it a lot of chakra before it disappeared. Naruto could hear Percys heart beating faster, he put his hand on his friends shoulder before the poor guy had a panic attack. He tried to reach for his pepperbox that wasnt there as they walked through the crowd. Vex noticed Percy was upset and said. "Percy? What's wrong?" Percy breathed heavily as he said. "Its.. It's them. Whitestone was my home. Til those fiends took everything from me." Vax Concerned said. "What do you want us to do? Should we say something? To Uriel?" Percy shook his head. Narutos eyed their porter bringing a trunk up the stairs. "Seems they're staying the night. Vax, why dont you go see what theyre up to." Scanlan nodded and said. "Sounds like a plan. But in case of trouble, we should have a safe word. Grog suggestions?" Grog then said. "Right.. The safe word is... Shenga." Scanlan then said. "Okay.. My safe word's mommy." Naruto sighed as Vax disappeared before they entered the dining area. Allura and Kima approached them as Kima said. "And somehow you guys look worse everytime we see you, wheres Vax?" Naruto said. "Hey, I look damn sexy every time you see me. Well except when I was almost dying that one time." Kima rolled her eyes as Scanlan said. "Oh Vax, he umm has the squirts." Alluras eye twitched as she said. "Oh, I see, delightful, well if youll follow me. Seats for the sovereign's dragon slayers. Kitsune you can sit by them or in your normal spot." Naruto smiled and said. "I'll sit with my friends if you dont mind Lady Allura, and I must say you and Lady Kima both look exquisite tonight." He gave her an eyebrow waggle which made her giggle and Kima sigh at his antics. As they approached the table Percy saw that they were across from the Briarwoods and his face hardened. Grog said softly. "Uh oh, shits about to get reaaal." When the announcer announced the presence of the Sovereign and the empress only Keyleth and Naruto were standing out of the entire group of Vox Machina. Naruto Elbowed Grog to stand from his spot between Vex and Grog and gently tapped Vexs shoulder. The others stood with Vex having to help Percy to stand. He couldnt stop glaring at the Briarwoods. "Nothing like a dragon attack to bring us all together, eh? Thank you everyone for making the journey in, please allow me to introduce our dining party." As Naruto already knew the names of everybody here, he tuned out what Uriel was saying keeping his ear open in case anybody called his name. Keyleth was whispering Percys name as he was just staring unmoving at the Briarwoods. Scanlan said. "Hes just staring like a perv." Vex said to Grog and Pike over Naruto. "He said the Briarwoods took everything." Pike asked. "What does that mean?" Naruto looked to the white-haired gnome and whispered. "I may have an inkling but we will let Percy tell us when hes ready. It's his place to tell his story." As they brought out the food Pike was whisper shouting to percy to talk to them. She was just about to throw a fork when Naruto caught it between his fingers and speared some meat with it as he cut a small piece. Everybody was watching to see how hed eat it. The guests had never seen Kitsune's full face before and Uriel and Salda had amused looks on their faces as they loved watching this. Whenever they invited Naruto to eat with them their children made it a game to try and catch Naruto with his facemask lowered. Percy said. "I'm fine." Keyleth responded. "Yeah suuure." Grog responded. "Percy, I say you should just walk over to the briarwoods, say hello to break the ice. Then punch them in the face. See what happens." Pike responded. "Grog nooo." Naruto chuckled and said. "Grog yes. I like it, simple to the point." Everybody then noticed his plate was clean. "How does he do that?" One person asked. "I dont hate Grogs idea." Scanlan said as Vex responded. "Well, we have to wait. Give Vax a chance to gather some information." Naruto nodded his head as he had sent a shadow clone henged as a fly to help just in case Vax needed it. Uriel spoke loudly to Sylas. "I must confess I was rather curious whether you would come. Our messenger did not return." Naruto heard the tone in that statement and knew that Uriel was probing for information. "In fact I heard dark rumors about Whitestone. They say no one travels in or out of your lands." Delilah said. "Lies spread by drunks and knaves. If no one left Whitestone, would we be sitting before you? Sovereign." Uriel quipped stone faced. "Perhaps, or perhaps I might be forced to send a garrison of troops to check on your city." Sylas slowly put his hand on Uriels as he said. "You wont need to do that." His eyes shined Yellow and Narutos eyes narrowed at the exchange. He used chakra to sharpen his senses and he turned pale for a second. 'Shit! Shit shit shit. Well I guess i finally get to kill one.' He thought. "You are right theres no need." Uriel said. "In fact, Whitestone needs to be protected." Sylas said as Uriel responded robotically. "Yes Whitestone independence is not to be challenged." Delilah noticed Percys staring as Keyleth was nervously chewing on her spoon and said. "Have we met before?" Percy was trying to speak before Vex spoke up and said. "We havent met. I'm Vexalia. I'm so sorry, what was your name again?" Naruto held in a snort at the comment. "Delilah, what an absolute pleasure to meet the protectors of the realm and Lord Kitsune as well. My husband, Sylas".Sshe gestured to her husband beside her. "Charmed." Percy gripped his wine glass so hard it shattered. Scanlan covered by saying. "Those are beautiful beads. I have a set just like it you know." Keyleth then said. "Beads? Ive never once seen you.." Scanlan smirked and said. "Eh." Keyleth then made a face and said. "EEEEWWWW." As everyone was eating dessert and Naruto had dispelled his clone to check on Vax, Sylas said. "Interestingly enough were not originally from Whitestone." Percy muttered. "Of course, youre not." Delilah heard him speak and said. "Tell me. Have you heard how we became caretakers of Whitestone?" All the members of Vox Machina stopped what they were doing as Percy shook with rage. "The official story was that the city was administered by the Derollo family, until theyd succumbed to a rare disease. But I'm afraid the truth is we concocted that tale. To protect their legacy." Percys eyes were wide and he was twitching. Naruto whispered to Vex to help him as he tried to figure a way to keep a fight from breaking out. "The sad reality is that the Derollos abdicated. They grew bored of ruling, and after their children raided the treasury, they abandoned their people. To rot." Percy slammed his fists on the table as he stood and shouted. "LIARS!!!" Sylas and Delilah stood as Sylas said. "Thank you Sovereign Uriel but I think we will retire for the night." Delilah said as she stood. "It was a lovely dinner. We especially enjoyed the company." Percy's hands were bleeding through his gloves as his nails dug into his palms. "Excuse us for a moment." Vex said as Vox machina left with Naruto grabbing Percy. In the party room they were standing around and Percy was pacing. Naruto sighed groaned thinking he shouldve sent a shadow clone off to warn Vax. As they were talking Naruto decided he had to leave now. If he left now, hed get to Whitestone by dawn. Without those monsters there itd be easier for him to liberate the city and help the rebels. As Percy told them that the Briarwoods murdered his whole family Naruto knew he was the Derollo heir that had disappeared. With Cassandra Derollo held captive by the Briarwoods Percy was the one person that could unite the people. "Percy why didnt you tell us?" Keyleth asked as Percy responded. "Ive tried to tell many over the years. No ones ever believed me." Pike gasped. "Vax's up there. What if he needs help?" Grog added. "Plus hes got the squirts." Scanlan sighed and said. "Okay I'll distract you go. Quietly." Naruto sighed and said. "Just dont be inapproprite. I know a lot of these people. Don't fuck up any of my contacts." Scanlan scoffed and said. "I am a master of my craft. Ladies and gentlemen this song is called: pull on my beads, of love. One two three!" The six of them left the party to go find Vax when Vex looked up in concern and said. "Vax." Naruto felt the seal he'd put on the half elf ripple as if some sort of foreign energy was trying to destroy it. "Get the weapons I'll flash to Vax. I've got some stuff sealed up." Pike growled and said. "We lost the ticket!? Fuck it. Grog!" Grog gladly grabbed the clerk and said. "Come here fuckstick!" Percy slid over the counter and started handing everybody their weapons. He threw Naruto his dagger before he flashed away. "Thanks. Forgot I'd need this to kill a vampire." he said disappearing in a yellow flash as Percys eyes changed in color. Just as Sylas had Vax in held up with one hand Naruto flashed in and slashed at the vampire with his long dagger. "Hello there." Naruto said holding the blade over his head lengthwise. "Oh its Lord Kitsune. I was wondering when the king of vermin would join us." Sylas said with a wicked grin before the screech of a hawk made him dodge an attack from Keyleth. Percy shouted the Briarwoods names as he fired off rounds like a mad man. Naruto growled as he dodged the bullets watching as Delilah used her magic to teleport away. "Percy careful with your shots. Pike we need you here. I cant do anything for Vax right now." Narutos eyes werent their usual blue. They were red in the shape of a pentagram with concentric rings around them. The mangekyo sharingan. There was a slit pupil in the middle as ten demonic fox tails appeared around Naruto and his ears shifted into fox ears. Ive always wanted to kill a vampire. Vex arrived shooting arrows as Delilah said. "Oh look dear. It's the pup who survived, all grown up. He even has Venmires old pal with him. I wonder if hed be mad if we told him what the duke did with his wife?" Vex sent another volley of arrows at the sorceress and said. "Step off bitch." Grog and Pike ran up Pike heading to Naruto who was defending Vax and Grog going to fight Sylas. Once he knew Vax was safe Naruto returned his attention to Delilah. He grinned savagely and said. "You picked the wrong place to fight me." he put his hands up and started running through hand signs. The water around them lifted into the air turning into a dragon. "Water style: water dragon jutsu!" he shouted as the dragon launched at Delilah. She used magic to send the water off before she felt a blade against her throat. Naruto grinned as he went to slit her throat before she let off a blast of magic and tried to choke him with it before he burst in a puff of smoke. Grog shouted. "No one kills Vax but me!" He swung wildly at the vampire who dodged his strikes with ease before grabbing the blade and crushing it in his grip. Naruto sighed and unsealed a pair of weapons held together by a chain from his jacket. He flashed over to Grog and handed his friend the weapons. "Kabutowari, the helm splitter. It can crush any defenses. Figured you might want to use it." he said as Grog smiled big holding the single bladed axe in his right hand while he swung the hammer in his left at the Vampire. Naruto unsealed another blade from his jacket. This one was a long needle like blade. The Nuibari or sewing needle. Naruto rushed Delilah and threw the blade at her which she dodged but screamed as it flew right through her arm from behind as clone was behind her to throw it back to the original Naruto. Naruto caught it and threw it between the sorceress legs before she screamed again as the clone threw it letting it stab through her left arm. A large amount of malicious magic tore through the fountain destroying the thread that held her together. She started to throw magic at the blonde kitsune left and right as Keleth sent a swarm of wasps at the women. Naruto heard Pike shout. "Oh shit that aint good." he turned to see Sylas heal from a shot to close to the heart. He saw the vampire make a blade appear from behind his back. Percy, Pike help with Delilah, I'll help Grog!" he shouted getting an affirmative from Pike while Percy ignored the blond. Naruto sighed and charged towards Sylas Stabbing him in the back with his dagger before Sylas elbowed him and charged Percy slashing Percys pepperbox from his hand. Naruto flashed in front of Percy and blocked the next strike with kyuubikiribocho. He gasped as he saw a cut appear in the blade and watched as half of it clattered to the ground. The vampires strength cut through one of the legendary swords of the hidden mist. Naruto grinned and attacked as Grog blocked his next strike and said. "You got a sword, well thats cute." he then backhanded the vampire with the hammer in his left hand. Hi"t and run tactics Grog. Work together with me." Naruto said as the golaith grinned and nodded his head. The two worked in tandem Grog slamming his ax against Sylas while Naruto went in for a cut. Sylas hadnt landed a single hit on Naruto but hed nicked Grog a few times the size of his blade changing each time. "Your blade isnt the only one to change with blood Sylas." Naruto said as Kyuubikiribocho grew back to its normal size in an instant. But it changed from its normal color to a deep blood red. "Seems vampire blood is a bit different than shinobi blood." Naruto said with a grin as he blocked a strike from the vampire. Keyleth Percy and Vex were losing badly against Delilah while Pike was still protecting Vax. Naruto sighed and said. "Grog I need to help them. Do your best." He tapped the giant on the shoulder giving his friend a chakra boost before sealing his blade away. He changed his eyes from the sharingan to the rinnegan quickly. "Bansho tennin!" He shouted causing Delilah to fly towards him. Naruto unsealed a kunai from a seal on his wrist and readied it in front of him to stab the bitch. Sylas attacked Naruto stopping the attack as Delilah teleported away. Grog went to defend his murder buddy before Sylas had started slicing into the barbarian. "Hold on Grog!" Pike shouted giving Grog an extra boost. "Thanks Pike, youre the best." Grog said as he went back to attacking Sylas with his axe and hammer combo. Delilah was behind Pike as she said. "This little one is entirely too much trouble." Naruto heard her as she charged her magic through her choker and sent off an attack to Pike hitting her and stabbing right through her signet. He was too late switching his eyes back to the sharingan as he shouted. "Ameratsu!" black flames went to engulf Delilah before Sylas took the attack, the vampire burning against the flames of Ameratsu. Naruto groaned in pain dropping to his knees as he held the flames trying to kill the monsters. His eyes bled as he said. "Give it up Sylas. You'll die before those flames go out." Delilah tried to use her magic to lift the water from the fountain onto her husband but the flames kept burning. "The flames of Ameratsu will burn until I stop them." he said blood dripping from his eyes and down his cheeks. Sylas grinned as he went for Pike covered in the flames his arms out about to give the defenseless cleric a flaming hug with his sword aloft. Naruto gasped turning his eyes off as the flames disappeared. He fell to the ground holding his eyes. Keyleth shouted. "NO Pike!" she then lifted her arm as a wall of vines appeared blocking them from their enemies. "Whats going on?! Go get the captain." the voices of guards said. Before Delilah shouted. "Desmond!" their porter arrived with the carriage telling them hed gathered their things. Sylas still smoking from the flames of ameratsu a burn along his face and down his neck that wouldnt heal threw Desmond off the drivers seat of the carriage. "I'll drive thank you." he said as Delilah got into the carriage. Percy shouted from behind the wall of vines. "Stop them!!!" He shot at the vines trying to get through and shouted at the downed Naruto. "Cant you do something!? Teleport me over there!" He didnt realize Naruto was in pain. "Come and visit us sometime Percival. You're always welcome back home." Delilah as they drove off. Percy got through the vines and was about to fire of another shot at the carriage but his gun was empty. The others came out from the vines as they watched Percy shout. "NO! I had them. HAD THEM!" he shouted as the others faces turned sad. "And you let them slip away!!" The others gasped at the accusation and keyleth stuttered. "I I didn't" Pike held her signet in her hand as the light faded out of it. "Everlight, no no. Please." Naruto struggled through the vines one hand holding a cloth over his eyes. Vex saw it and rushed to him. "Are you okay?" he nodded and winced. "Yeah, prolonged use of any sharingan techniques causes blindness. But my healing factor makes it temporary." He said softly smiling at the half elf. The porter was stirring sitting up as Percy glared at the boy. He walked towards the boy putting a new round of ammo into his weapon. He kicked the boy back to the ground aiming his gun at him. "Start talking. Why were the Briarwoods here? What were they after?" The boy terrified stuttered. "The they were invited like you. By Sovereign Uriel." Percy scowled and said. "Sylas and Delilah have never left the confines of Whitestone before. Why here? Why now!?" smoke started to float around the white-haired gunslinger. He pulled a plague doctor mask from his coat as he said in a ghastly voice. "Answer me! NOW!!" The others gasped and Vax said. "What the actual fuck?! Holy shit Percy what are you doing?" Naruto tilted his head still unable to see but he could feel the terrible energy flowing off of Percy. "Percy stop this now. Don't let it control you." he said in an even tone as he stood up shakily Vex holding his arm. The boy stuttered out as Percy aimed his gun. "Pa please, I'm only a servant. He went to fire another round but Naruto was there holding his arm up above their heads. He took the gun and dropped it onto the ground. "No more of this Percy." Then Uriels voice shouted. "Halt right there. What is the meaning of this? Guards! Arrest Vox Machina and Bring Kitsune to the throne room." he said as guards swarmed the area a female guard gently taking Narutos arm and guiding him away from Vox machina. "Naruto, what do we do?" Vex said to the kitsune. Naruto turned his head and said. "Just do what they say and trust me." Scanlan came out to the courtyard cream pie on his face as he laughed and said. "They loved me in there. I was on fire." he opened his eyes and saw what was happening and he said just one word. "Fuck."
