It's been a few months since Thandruill found Y/N in Rivendell, and let Elrond court her. Now it's time to go back for a visit, part of her is excited about going but the other part will miss Elrond like crazy.
She is in her chambers packing her things ready for her trip tomorrow, she lays her travel clothes out as well as her armour and weapons. As she looks at her books there's a knock at the door, she says enter and Elrond walks in smiling at her. She walks up to him and he hugs her and says ( i will miss you), she smiles and says ( i will miss you too, but i won't be gone for long). He holds her tight and kisses her passionately, they pull away and smile at each other.
The next morning Y/N is dressed for her trip, she is having breakfast with Elrond on the balcony of his chambers. They are talking and laughing about anything and everything, one of Elrond's guards knocks on the door and says ( it's time to go my lady)she sighs and says ( I am coming), she stands and looks out the window. Elrond holds her and says ( you will be back soon), she nods and smiles. He walks her to her horse and hugs her tight, he whispers ( I love you) she smiles and says ( I love you too). She gets on her horse and waves to Elrond, then her and the guards ride off to Mirkwood.
After 3 days of riding they see Mirkwood's border, Y/N smiles and rides faster. They enter the wood and slow down, she tells the guards to be aware in case of spiders. They ride towards the gate and then are stopped by a patrol, the leader says ( why are you in Mirkwood). She smiles and says ( I'm returning home Legolas, I haven't changed that much have I brother), she lowers her hood and he sees it's his sister. He smiles and tells the patrol to let them past, he jumps behind her on the horse and says( Ada has been excited all day). They ride to the gate and Legolas gets off the horse and runs inside, Y/N tells her guards ( tell Lord Elrond I reached home safe, and i will see him soon) they nod and leave.
She walks through the halls to the throne room and hears her father saying ( where is she), she smiles and says ( I'm here Ada). She runs to him and hugs him tight and says ( I missed you Ada), he smiles down at her and says ( your home now for a while).
