Noise

Loud.
Everything's loud.
If only I could shut them out.
But listening's all I, am about.

Quiet.
It's gone all quiet.
The ceiling fan's silent.
Why has everyone hushed?

I could hear their screams,
But suddenly everything is not as it seems.
Their voices no longer hold gleam.
I woke up from a dream.

The pitter patter of each step.
Would drive anyone crazy.

Stay.
Let the noise stay.
There's no point anyway.

So I'll shatter my voice and I'll crack my throat,
If it'll finally let me dive of this sinking boat!
Take off this boring, patternless coat.
Reading out each word and note that I wrote.

I'll be louder than them all,
Make the others seems so small.
I'm the end I'll just fall,
So why not act tall?

I'll swallow my pride,
And let it reside.
On this broken ride.
Going down the crooked slide.
