we associate the word addiction
to bad things in this world
good things that are bad for you
there's a thrill
and it feels so good
but then comes the part
where everything just comes crashing down
and i'm so sorry
then there's those people and other things
that help you get back up
your addiction isn't one of those
you can't go back
to what you're trying to recover from,
and i'm so sorry
that you called me an addiction
because now there's no way
that i can come back to you
because i'd only hurt you again
