Neil closed his laptop.Finally he was done with the works that had piled up due to Anubhav's illness.He took his mobile when it occured to him that he had to call Haseena who had called him 2days ago but they couldn't talk as Neil had to attend an urgent meeting.He dialled her number she picked up after 2rings.
"Tob ab time Mila tumhe phone karneka"Voice came from other side of the phone.
"Sorry Hasi..bhai ki tabiyat kharab hain na toh mujhpar workload zyada ho gaya hain."Neil replied honestly.
"Anubhav ki tabiyat kharab hain?!Kya hua hain unhe Neil?"Haseena asked worriedly.
"Serious kuch nahi bas viral fever...par thikse naa khane pine k karan bhai bohot weak ho gaye hain..(he pauses for a moment)..woh tumhe bohot Miss karte hain Haseena...bilkul badal gaye hain,aisa lagta hain purane Anubhav Singh ko apne saath hi lekar chali gayi tum."Neil said smiling sadly.A lone tear trickled down her cheek listening to him.
Neil was talking to Haseena when a thud sound gained his attention.
"Bhai!"Neil shouted when he noticed an unconcious Anubhav at the landing of stairs with his forehead bleeding heavily.
He called their men and asked them to help him pick Anubhav up.
"Rahul driver se kaho jaldi se gaadi nikale..bohot khoon bahe raha hain bhai ko abhi k abhi Hospital lejana padega."
On the other side Haseena's heart was sinking every moment listening to their talks.
"Hello Hello Neil tum sun rahe ho?!"She tried to talk but he had forgotten about the call still on.
Haseena disconnected the call.
"Hume Anubhav k paas Jana hoga...kuch bhi ho hum unhe aisi halat mein akele nahi chhod sakte."She sat with her laptop to book the earliest flight ticket possible.

Next Day:
Haseena came out of the airport and went to the parking where Avni was waiting for her and the duo directly went to Care and Cure Hospital where Anubhav was admitted.
Care and Cure hospital:
Neil was surprised to see Haseena there.
"Haseena tum yaha?"
"Neil Anubhav kahan hain?"she asked impatiently.
"Bhai abhi so rahe hain par tum yaha kaise?"He asked.
"Jab Anubhav behosh hue the humara call on tha...Neil humare jaane k baad kya hua hain..please hume batao"She pleaded.
"Thik hain baitho..sab batata hun."
"Tumhare jaane k baad Anubhav bhai bilkul gumsum ho gaye..unka woh gussa,rutba kuch bhi pahele jaisa nahi raha...pura pura din khudko office k kaam mein busy rakhte the...gang ka kaam Rahul sambhalta hain uss taraf toh woh dekhte bhi nahi...khana pina bhi chhod diya aur kal sidhiyon se fisal gaye shayad chakkar aagaya hoga aur wahi behosh ho gaye aur..(Neil paused)"
"Aur kya Neil."
"Doctor ka kahena hain unhe kisi baat se bohut chot pounchi hain..aur kyun ki woh chup swabav k hain agar aisa hi Raha toh woh puri tarha se depression mein jaa sakte hain."Neil said sadly.
By the time Neil finished Haseena was sobbing silently.
"Haseena ro mat"Avni said.
"Kaise naa roye Avni...yeh sab kuch humari wajah se hi ho raha hain.Humare karan humare Anubhav ki yeh halat hain.."
"Nahi yaar Isme teri koi galti nahi hain..khudko blame mat kar."
"Nahi Avni..hum galat hain..humne unhe apna paksh rakhne ka mauka nahi diya...arey dusra mauka toh uparwala bhi deta hain hum apne gusse mein itne andhe ho gaye ki unko samajhne ki koushis tak nahi ki...Ek baar baith kar unse baat karte ki kyun woh waise behave kar rahe the shayad baat itna agey nahi badhta.Humne unki insecurities ko dur karne ki ek baar koushis bhi nahi ki..
Unhone humse sacchai chhupayi woh galat tha par humne bhi janne ki koushis nahi ki..ki jo Anubhav khudse pahele humare bare mein sochte the..humare liye duniya idhar se udhar karne ko taiyyar rahete the unhone humse itni badi baat kyun chhupayi."She said crying.
"Shayad tum sahi ho Haseena..bachpan se hi Bhai pyar ko tarse hain..jatate nahi the par jab baki sabko dekhte the..mujhe mom dad k saath dekhte the I'm sure unhe bhi bura lagta tha...itne saalon baad jab unhe tumse pyar Mila woh tumhe khudse dur nahi jaane Dena chahte the..unhe dar tha kahi humari dono chachiyon ki tarha Tum bhi unse dur na ho jao shayad isiliye itne over possessive ho gaye the."Neil spoke making Haseena feel more guilty.
"Dono chachi matlab Neil?"Avni asked..
"Dono chachi matlab chachaji ki dono patniya.Unki paheli patni Anamika Anubhav bhai ki biological mother unki death respiratory tract failure ki wajah se hua tha,tab bhai sirf 2saal k the.Chachaji bhai se pyar toh karte the par gang k kaam k chakkar mein kabhi bhi unhe samay nahi de paate the.Maa se suna hain bhai humesha apni maa ko dhundte the..phir jab Bhai 4saal k hue tab chachaji ne dusri shaadi ki Sumitra chachi se.
Sumitra chachi mein Bhai ko apni maa mili.Chachiji bhai pe jaan chhidakte the..woh itna pyar karti thi Bhai se ki kabhi khud k baby k baare mein socha hi nahi.Mujhe abbhi yaad hain Bhai kahi se bhi lautke sabse pahele apni chhoti maa ko dhundte the.Par bhagwan ko kuch aur hi manzoor tha...(his face darkened)
Bhai k 12th birthday se ek din pahele mansion par ek hamla hua.Hamla kiya tha Chachji k jaani dushman Hamid Hussain ne.Mujhe,bhai ko ek shurakshit jagah par chhupa diya gaya tha..jab sab khatam hua hum bahar Gaye toh humne dekha Chachiji ka parthiv sharir living room k beecho bich pada hua tha..Hamid ne chaku maar diya tha unhe.
Woh aakhri baar tha jab maine Bhai ko rote hue dekha tha...ek hafte Tak kisise baat nahi ki thi unhone.Doctor ne kaha tha iska unke mental health par bohot bura asar padega.
Phir ek din chachaji ne faisla sunaya ki woh Bhai ko gang leader banne ki training dena chahte the...bhai bhi Maan gaye...phir uss chhote se bacche se kadi se kadi training karwayi gayi ek uff tak nahi kiya unhone kabhi.
Phir ek din Bhai ne Hamid se apni maa k maut ka badla liya tab sirf 17saal k the woh..main kabhi bhi innsab mein involved nahi tha par maine suna hain rahem ki bhikh mang raha tha Hamid par bahi ne uski ek na suni.
Humara legal business darasal hain chachiji ka..bhai LA gaye apni degrees complete ki phir yeh business sambhalne lage..Bhai ne apne liye yeh zindagi kabhi nahi chuna tha pata nahi kyun kismat ne unke saath aisa khel khela."He sighed.
None of them spoke for the next few minutes.The silence was broken by the nurse's voice.
"Patient jaag Gaye hain..aaplog unse mil sakte hain."
"Haseena dekh hume nahi pata Anubhav tujhe dekhkar kaise react karega..tu sure hain na tu yeh karna chahti hain?"Avni asked, concerned about her best friend.
"Anubhav is the only love of my life Avni..hum itni asaani se give up nahi kar sakte..ek koushis toh hum zaroor karenge...hum tumhari fiqr samajhte hain par humara Dil kaheta hain iss bar sab thik hoga."she said and stepped towards Anubhav's cabin.

Anubhav was listening to whatever Neil was saying when his eyes stopped on the person entering his cabin.
"Haseena!"He whispered.
Neil turned back to see them and moved aside to give space to Haseena to sit.
"Anubhav!Yeh kya halat banali hain apni?"She said caressing his pale cheeks.
"Aap toh chali gayi thi tha..wapas kyun aayi hain..phirse se jane k liye?!"He said with painful voice.
Haseena whimpered listening to him"Nahi Anubhav hum aapko chhod kar kahi nahi jayenge...hume maaf kar dijiye please".
He didn't reply anything just closed his eyes probably not wanting to let his tears flow.
"Anubhav please humari taraf dekhiye...hum sach mein kahi nahi jayenge,humse baat kijiye."She shaked him a bit.
"Sach mein?"He asked like a kid that could melt anybody's heart.She smiled and nodded positively.
"Aap log please ab bahar jaiyye visiting hours khatam ho chuka hain"A nurse said from the door.
Haseena was about to get up but Anubhav had held the end of her Kurti tightly.
"Neil please doctor se baat karlo hume yaha rukna hain."Haseena said.Neil nodded and Avneil went outside.
Anubhav shifted his head on her lap.She kissed his forehead and started caressing his hair until he fell asleep.
(I know there was very less Anuseena scene in this chapter but the next one is gonna have a lot of Anuseena moment..so please kindly adjust.)
