Chapter 13 :Visits

It's been exactly one month since Lan Ying is in secluded meditation and creating a new invention, His meals are delivered in his room

Lan Ying is currently meditating and letting his worries free when someone knock the door

Lan Ying took his outer robe and open the door and saw Lan Xichen

Lan Ying's face instantly brighten

" Huan Ge!" He excitedly said and Hug the older Jade of Lan

Lan Xichen laugh lightly and patted his back and head

" Did you miss me a-ying" Lan Xichen said and enter room with lunch food

" Yes, though many things happens while you are away" Lan Ying said

The brother relationship between Lan Xichen and Lan Ying since they are child is still the same, if something changes between them,then, it is the bond that keep getting stronger everytime, to the point that they tell everything to each other, not just the two of them but also to Lan Wangji

The bond between the three of them are unbreakable, the three of them are protective to each other, know too well each other, cherish and love each other. A perfect trio, deserving to their title as Three Jade of Lan, The Lan trio and Lan Qiren's prized nephew and ward

" Did something important happen that i missed?" Lan Xichen ask curiously

" Did you already visit A-zhan?" Lan Ying instead ask and eat his food

Lan Xichen shook his head and said " I visit you first since i am worried that there are other reason why you decide to go to seclusion aside from secluded meditation and invention"

Lan Ying smile at how huan ge know him, Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji know him too well that it's so hard to keep his emotion a secret

"Huan Ge, how do you know if you love someone?" Lan Ying ask instead of answering his question

Lan Xichen seems surprise at his sudden question and he look at my face trying to read my expression and a realization is seen to his face

" Wangji already confess?" Lan Xichen ask in delight, he has been hinting Lan Wangji and Lan Ying about their feelings to each when he knows that they are ready but his little A-ying is too oblivious while Lan Wangji might be bold toward his action to Lan Ying but Lan Ying misunderstand his intention

Lan Ying nodded his head

" Huan Ge I'm confuse about what i feel, i can't name the feelings that i have to A-zhan. I willingly go to seclusion to clear my mind and maybe i can know what i truly feel toward him" Lan Ying said, Lan Xichen nodded his head in understanding, he knows that Lan Ying loves his brother but he doesn't want to tell him that.he want him to figure it out by himself and answer his confusion as well as figuring himself. but he will always be there to guide him and wangji

" A-ying don't pressure yourself to figure it out. You can figure it out slowly. how about this, i will ask you a question and maybe your answer can help you to know what you truly feel, how about it?" Lan Xichen ask softly, Lan Ying nodded his head

"You go to sleep and wake up thinking about this person?" Lan Xichen ask first

Lan Ying's face blush and nodded his head

"You want to grow old together with him?"Lan Xichen ask again

Lan Ying nodded his head without hesitation causing Lan Xichen to smile softly

" He complement you rather than "complete" you" Lam Xichen said softly

Lan Ying eyes widen but still nodded his head

"You notice yourself planning the future with them in mind" Lan Xichen said

Lan Ying once again nodded his head but in embarrassing way

"You're heart seems abnormal when he is near and it felt like something is in your stomach?"Lan Xichen ask

And once again Lan Ying nodded his head

"You're thinking about that person in every question that i ask?" Lan Xichen said

Lan Ying's face blush so hard and it make Lan Xichen laugh and pinch his face

" A-ying think about it by yourself, you're smart but don't rush things, take it slowly and think thoroughly so you wont regret things" Lan Xichen said softly as he can and Lan Ying can't help himself but to lean at the shoulder of whom he consider as a older brother

" Thank you, thank you for always be there for me, for us" Lan Ying said and hug him

" A-ying we're family, there's no need to say thank you and sorry, You are my younger brother " Lan Xichen said and patted his head affectionately

" We're also here for you huan ge remember that, If you are tired you can lean on us, if you are sad i can offer you a hug and if you are going through a hard times, we are here and remember  you are not alone " Lan Ying said and smile softly at him before hugging Lan Xichen again

Lan Xichen laugh softly but a tear of happiness roll in his eyes, He is truly happy right now, even though he doesn't have a parents, he still have a uncle and two brothers who love him the way he loves them, who is always there the way he is to them and support him always, he is not afraid of pain and hardship because he knows that he is not alone and wont be alone

Lan Xichen hug Lan Ying tightly

When the two let go of the hug Lan Ying smile at him brightly which make Lan Xichen laugh

"So a-ying uncle said that you want to keep your invention a secret until you are finish of it? will you tell to your huan ge what is it hmm mn?" Lan Xichen ask and smile at him so he wont refuse

Lan Ying laugh " you really know that i can't refuse you " He said before pouting

"Alright alright i have two things in mind that i want to invent, First is Spirit Attraction Flag, It attracts all spirits, ghosts, corpses, and evil creatures within a certain radius to the user and the second is Fire Proof Robes im sure you know what it is base on the name, I want to invent it because i have a bad feelings about the wens and they are using fire so i thought maybe it can help us" Lan Ying said

Lan Xichen's face is full of happiness and proud look while listening but become serious at the second invention

" A-ying you're really genius but speaking of wens, i think you are right they become suspicious this past few years but no one is brave enough to question them because of the power that they hold, i think it's better safe that sorry so the second invention will help us so much" Lan Xichen said and smile proudly at him, his little a-ying become matured

" Hm i also notice it specially the corpse that we saw on night hunt last time is different, it's not just a corpse but also a puppet and we know who is capable of doing it." Lan Ying said seriously and Lan Xichen nodded his head in understanding

" I also strengthen the ward and make sure that no evil or has a evil intentions can enter" Lan Ying said which make Lan Xichen smile softly at him, his little A-ying really care about Cloud Recess the way he is to their home, he is willing to help him to protect it, The Three Jade swear to protect their home after all but Lan Xichen also notice the tension in Lan Ying and the way he is so cautions to protect it means he is afraid to lose it

" A-ying don't overthink, it's alright, everything will be alright" Lan Xichen said softly and hug the person in attempt to lessen his worry

After Lan Xichen visit A-ying, he also visits his other brother, wangji and after that he directly go to his room to rest

After he come back from qinghe nie, he directly go to his uncle and when he said about what happened when he is away specially his little A-ying's seclusion he become worried and didn't bother to rest and directly go to yashi which is  Lan Ying's room, to know if something happen and after that he also go to wangji's room to greet and ask if he is okay before resting to his own room and sleep peacefully knowing that his brothers are alright
