A couple hours ago

Izuku's pov

"Man that trip here was boring as shit, I should've brought more games"

Albedo: "It wasn't that boring. Of course, I slept the entire time but that's beside the point"

"Whatever, go get your stuff put away so we can go to the hot spring until the class arrives"

Albedo: "K babe, I'll be back soon" she says as she kisses my cheek and skips away,

"Now what do I do" I say with my hands behind my head,

That's when I noticed a small boy with a red hat with spikes,

"Hey kid what's up? What's your name mine's Izuku Scarlet, but you can just call me Izuku" I say with a smile,

???: "Why should I care what your name is? You're all wannabe heroes anyways" he said with his arms crossed and a killer glare,

'Hmm so he hates heroes, must be a personal matter then'

I take a good look and realize he looks a lot like a couple of heroes I saw on the news a while ago,

"Hey I'm sorry about the Water Hoses, they must've been your parents, right?" I say with a sympathetic look,

???: "WHAT DO KNOW ABOUT THEM HUH!" he screams,

"You should know I have experienced horrible heroism in my life too, society is screwed in more ways than one. But your parents were great heroes and whatever you think they did to you was wrong, they probably loved you and was trying to give you a good life."

???: "B-but, th-they left m-me" he says as he starts tearing up,

"I don't think many people really want to die and leave their adorable kid" I say with a lighter tone, "Though there are a lot of heroes that only care about fame or fortune, heroes like them were there to save people and to create a comfortable life for you"

The kid just runs up to me and hugs me as tight as he can, poking me with is spiked hat. I just hug back as much as I can as I didn't want to crush his little body,

???: "It's Kota"

"Hmm"

Kota: "My name. It's Kota"

I smile a bit at this kid's new trust in me,

"Well Kota, why don't we get you cleaned up and do something fun, like setting up pranks for the other 'wannabe heroes', even though there are some good ones in the group"

He smiles at the realization that he could let loose some of his resentment for heroes through pranks,

Kota: "YEAH!" he yells as he runs off presumably to clean up,

???: "You know that was the first time I've seen him smile in a while" said a voice in the forest,

I turn around to the voice and see it's Mandalay from the Pussycats,

"I'm not surprised, he seemed to resent heroes a lot"

Mandalay: "And that's why I want to ask you for something. I was told by Aizawa the you already have a adopted daughter and a girlfriend. So this makes it easier to ask this."

"What?"

Mandalay: "I'd like if you could take Kota with you and adopt him, we aren't with him a lot because of our hero work, and I think it would be better if he grew up in an environment full of more love and the outside world"

"Usually I'd say no to adding more people to the crazy family that I already have, but knowing Kota and his past, I think I'll take the offer" I say with a small smile,
