As Rindou carries Emiko in his arms, they suddenly encounter another group of enemies near the exit, so Rindou hide in a corner

"Baby stay here for a bit, Dada is just gonna clear some obstacles in our way"

He put his jacket on her then kissed her forehead, but Emiko hold his hand as her eyes pleading him to stay

"You trust Dada right" she nodded

"Then I promise I'll be back after I clear the path, so I want you to sit still"

Even though she doesn't want to let him go, she doesn't have a choice

"Dada Rinrin loves you very much"

He left facing the enemy who was blocking their way, since there are so many of them, Rindou had a hard time dealing with them and unfortunately he ran out of bullets, when he only had one opponent left he curse knowing that the faith is isn't in his side

Rindou's eyes lit up seeing a figure he has been waiting for

The man who is pointing a gun at him was puzzled by his words

He didn't even finish talking when the man fall to the ground

Ran teased him as he ruffled his hair the younger male groan, and swayed his brother's hand away, Emiko who took a peek saw Ran, so she fastly run towards him and Ran open his arms for his daughter

Emiko cries again, Ran hates seeing his daughter cry, he warmly embraces while drawing circles in her back

"It's okay baby we're here now you're safe"

He kisses her forehead while her tears don't stop from falling she grips tightly as Ran's clothes, as if she doesn't want to let go, he gently pick her up carrying her as her head buried in his neck

"Let's go Rindou, the others are coming here now, let them handle the rest Emiko needs to be treated"

They make their way out

They encounter the other members of bonten as they made their way to their car

"Is Emiko okay?!"

Kokonoi worriedly ask then his eyes soften as he saw her hugging Ran like a Koala

"Where is Haruchiyo"Takeomi ask

"Still inside"

They went inside while Ran and Rindou continued making their way out

As they are walking, Rindou suddenly notice a red dot in Emiko's back

"Watch out!!!"

Blood drips in Rindou's upper body as he took the bullet for Emiko, Ran immediately drag them in a cover area

"Rindou let me see your wound!"

Ran ripped his clothes and the bullet went through his chest near his heart Emiko had a horrid expression in her face while her hands are in her mouth

"No t-this is a-all my fault!"

She fall on her knees while Rindou force himself to hug Emiko while Ran is supporting him
