"What's going on?" Marinette asked me and Alya

"Shh" Alya said as she was recording, this game

"It's tryouts for the Paris Ultimate Mecha Strike III Tournament, The school sends the two students with the highest scores" I said to Marinette as Kim walked over

"Actually, the tryouts are for a partner to team up with Max in the tournament" Kim said, I rolled my eye, bet i could beat him

"Why Max?" Marinette ask Kim

"Cause he's unbeatable, He's a total roxor, He's got the highest APM over anyone" Kim said, i wanna try beat him

"APM?" Marinette questioned

"Action per minute" Kim said "This tournament is his whole life, He been grinding all year to level up"

"I bet i could beat him" I said, i heard Kim laugh

"Really?" Kim said still laughing

"Okay, if i beat him you give me €/$/£20 and if i lose i give you €/$/£20" I said with smirk turning to look at him

"Well, I think we have our two champions lined up for the Paris Tour-" Mr. Damocles started

"Wait!" I said "Is it too late to try out?" I heard Alya and Rose gasp

"Well, the library is closing up in five minutes, but we should have enough time" Mr. Damocles said as i sat down

Adrien handed me the controller he was using, I took a deep breathe to forces, i was getting this win

"Is she serious? There's no way" I heard Kim say, I'm also getting that €/$/£20

"The rules are elementary, you battle each other's robots with your own, and-" Max started but i cut him off

"Please, every time you win, you loot his items and gain XP, which upgrades your mech, I'm not a noob, thank you very much" I said, i love proving people wrong

"Uh, sounds like you have a sufficient amount of knowledge, Let's see if it's enough to beat me" Max said as we shook hands

We picked our characters and we're about to started

"Come on, Max, you can do it" Kim said, as the game started

I was doing really good, and I was beating him too. I heard people gasp as i was about to win "And now, quarter circle plus heavy kick, and Flying hyperstom, Triple Hit Combo, Y/n style, Booyah!" I said as i won

"Yes, I win" I said proudly

"Wha...I can't believe it, she...she beat him?" I heard Kim say, smirked i love proving people wrong

"Beat him? She pulverized him!" Alya said shocked
