'Rain in the Desert'(part-5)

'we often assume that deserts are scary ...but... in reality they just need raindrops to turn into life..... to clean their dark pain and refill the life with the fragrance of that rainy soil........'

Desert is feeling a bit alive.....

Raghav came to the terrace and , Kirti hugged him crying.....

Kirthi:"aana.......i am sorry.....i am really sorry.... for all my mistakes..... aapne jo bhi kiya .....hamari khushi ke liye kiya....or hum kisi or ki galti ka ilzam aap per lagate rahe.... apko apke struggle me.... pain me akela chor ke chale gaye.... sorry..... mene to sifr apne nana or chinna ko khoya..... par.... par appne to puri family......

Raghav:"kirthi..... pahle mai apna vo chota sa behen ka demand pora nahi kar sakta tha ..... or aab mera bahen apne iss anna se demand karta hi nahi..... kya kare mai akela iss pese ka.... tum..."

tears were flowing from his eyes..... he hugged her ....

they were eating their ice cream and talking.....

Kirthi:" abb mai apko apni demands se pareshan ker dungi... roj mere liye icecream.. lana hoga... done..?

Raghav:" aee.... ye mera chota sa bahen rote huye bilkul aacha nahi lagta..... or vo past 10 years ka badla to me tere se leker rahega..... shadi nahi karayega mai tera 10 saal tak... apne paas rakhega mera chelli ko...... ardamayinda...."

Kirthi:" asi bat hai to mai fir se naraj ho jaungi....."

Raghav:"kirthiiii...... kitna desperate hai tu shadi ke liye...."

Kirthi:" apki shop se sari expensive wedding jewellery le lungi mai....."

Raghav:"ye bhi koyi puchne ka bat hai..... mera life ka teen important ladies ke liye mera shop hamesa open hai... without any charge......"

Raghav:" kirthi ....kya amma mereko maaf kar payega.... vo kabi.... pahle jise mere ko pyar karega....?... "

"kya tu mereko kabhi maaf kar payega.....? "

Raghav: " a...amma..."

Amma:" mere ko maaf kar de Raghav.... har amma apna baccho ke musibat me sath hota hai ....par mai.... mai to tereko akela chor ke chale gaye... mai kirthi or Arjun ka amma to ban gaya...... par apne Raghav ka amma..... (she was crying...)

Raghav:"amma ....please tum asa mat bolo..... mere se galti hua tha par.... vo krishna Rao.."

Amma:"mere ko sab pata hai Raghav..... kal pallavi mere se bat kiya.... bataya mereko ki mai kitna galat ker raha tha tere sath.....tune apna nana or Aarju ko nahi mara.....tum bekasur hai... sorry.... apna amma ko maaf ker de......"

He hugged her tightly....

Raghav:"Thank you amma...mai..

amma... Pallavi tum se baat kiya.... usne tumko or Kirthi ko...vo....??

Amma:"mera beti pallavi mera family ko fir se ek kar diya... mai khushkismat hai jisko pallavi jaisa bahu mila.... mai uske pass jake aata hai...."

Raghav:"a....ummm...amma aap pallavi se kal baat ker lena... abhi mereko usse kuch kam hai... to...."

Kriti smiles mischievously and Raghav looks at her and raises his eyebrows.....

Amma:"sarey...."

Raghav enters his room
Pallavi was taking bath......

Raghav:"pallavi..... saree ka dukan.... aree tum bol kayiko nahi raha.... tum fir apna inners bhul gaya kya.... ?"

Pallavi:"a... bolo..."

Raghav:"mera ko tumse bat karna hai.... jaldi bahar aao varna mai itna desperate hai ki mai hi andar aa jayega...."

Pallavi:"hmm..."

Raghav"hmm... means??? sach me andar bula raha hai kya?

Raghav:"saree ka dukan...... tumko ye glassbathroom se wild ideas to nahi aa raha na....??"

Pallavi came out..........

Pallavi:"bolo..."

Raghav: "pallavi.... tum mere life ka sabse bada gift diya hai..... gift nahi... tum... mereko life diya hai..... amma or kirthi.... dona tumhara vajah se mere sath..... thank you pallavi.... tumhara aane se pahle mai lifeless tha...par....tum...mai kabhi kisi ka life me important nahi raha par tum....."

Pallavi:"hmm......."

she was staring at the floor.....

Raghav:" pallavi.... tum mera taraf kyun nahi dekh raha... tum subah bhi thik se baat nahi kiya.... mai koi galti kiya kya...?

He cupped her face and made her look at him...

her eyes were red and swollen from constant crying.....

Raghav:"p...Pallavi tum ro raha hai..... kya hua.... tum...

Pallavi:" so...you are happy..... aama or kirthi tumko vapas mil gaye.. ab koi problem nahi hoga .."

Raghav:"pallavi tum.... ye ...kya.."

Pallavi:"abb tumko iss forced marrige me nahi rahna hoga..tum unko tumhari vo.....Ric...." (tears rolled down from her eyes)

Raghav:"pallavi tum ye kya bol raha hai...."

Pallavi:"it's ok Raghav.... mai janti hun tum sabki khushi chahte ho.... par tum khud bhi khush rahna sikho......mai..

mai chali jaungi yahan se.....
tum....tum... amma.. kirthi....or apni.... vo... girl.....girlfriend Richa... ke sath khush rahna....

i....i..im.. glad that you found your....love.... "

she left from the room.......
