Chapter 2

*Maya's POV*
I feel overwhelmed with the chaos surrounding me in this moment.
I feel petrified with anxiety over the flooding reality of moving to not only a new country, but a new continent completely. I never thought I would leave France, let alone Europe. My home.

I feel a hand in mine bringing me back to the present.
My brother, my twin, Andre.
I look over at him, he's staring at me sending me a concerned look.
"I'm okay Andre, don't worry about me" I say with a tight smile.
"It's okay to be afraid Mimi. This is all new, unknown. But remember its also a new adventure! We are going to have a fresh start, we are going to see Cam and Aiden soon!" He says with an excited gleam in him eyes.
Cam and Aiden are our distant cousins on our mothers side. We have always stayed in contact even with the distance. We are moving across the globe to live with our cousins, leaving our mother and younger siblings at home in Normandy.
