LIA'S POV

"Lia, listen to me carefully ok?" Alexzander says as he sits in front of me 

"ok" i say 

"look i know you are angry but i am doing it for the best of both of us alright? after tonight you might not see me again for a long time but i promise we will beet again but it will be in a very long time" he says 

"why?" i ask him 

"because it is the only way to get you free from here" he says "before you say no, i am not listening as this is the only chance i am getting and i am taking the risk no matter what" he says and hugs me tightly 

"you remember i told you about my sister and how i named you after her?"  he asks 

"yes, you told me that she is now somewhere safe from your dad and i can visit after i grow up" i say back 

"yes i will be going to her, and you will also be safe from him but in a different place, i promise  you will live happily there" he said 

"but i don't want to leave you, and i ill be all alone. take me with you" i say as tears made their way out of my eyes 

"' i know but you wont be alone, you will have your papa, and Sophia with you, please be strong ok? this is final no one can change it" he said hugged me 

"i love you" i say 

"i love you too, promise me that you will always try to be happy and never give up" he says  

"i promise fratello" i say 

"this might  be our last time to meet but i am always here with you, even in your darkest times, saddest times, happiest moments, i am always right here" he said and placed his hand on my heart

"i will miss you fratello, a lot" i say hugging him tightly 

"i know, i am sorry to leave you but the things i have done to some innocent souls can only be repaid by this way and i am sure it wont be enough but i am ready to  pay the price with my life and if not enough then in the next life" he said

"its time, i should be going, bye Amelia" he said using my full name which only he uses 

"bye  fratello, love you" i say hugging him tightly 

"you know saying bye means loosing your grip so i can go" he chuckles as i feel tears escape my eyes

i hug him even tighter hoping he would hug me back, i need it, especially if this is the last one, i NEED it 

"please lia you are making it difficult for me" he says but by his tone i know he is crying 

i shook my head  which was burried in his chest 

he finally hugs me back tighter as i feel his chest vibrate from his sobs and hearing him cry made me cry harder 

"please, don't go" i whisper 

"please lia, it has to be done, i have to pay for what i did, you are the most beautiful thing i ever tried to protect after my sister, please, dont make it harder for me, and i know she will take care of you" he said 

"i love you" i say 

"i love you so much you cant even realize" he said kissing my forehead 

"SON, GET HERE NOW, TIME TO GO TO THE BALL"  i hear Vincenzo shout as he forcefully pulls me away from him and runs away 

i try to chase him but after running few feet i fall as the chain to my feet is pulled to its max

"NO, PLEASE, FRATELLO" i shout as i see his Silhouette fade 

"please" i whisper with all the strength left in me as i see him turning back and giving me a teary smile 

how can he smile at times like this? 

"i love you Lia, remember that" he mouth as he gone

"was i not brave enough for you to take me with you fratello?" i ask to myself
