Alex's Fallax's Eye is a mutated form of the one Elise has, resulting in an overactive amygdala & weakened memory. This manifests in panic attacks and episodes of aggression paired with memory loss. Instead of feeling no fear, she feels All The Fear and her brain/body overworks itself to protect her. She's diagnosed with panic disorder

Elise's Eye on the other hand gives her an underactive amygdala and her hippocampus isn't affected. This manifests in traits akin to ASPD like a lack of fear response and a calculating demeanor. She isn't diagnosed with anything, though, as she grew up mid-century and nobody suspected much was wrong with her
