Brianna carpenter was a bright girl and no matter what her school records may say she was smart, not at math, french or geography But at playing with peoples emotions, she always knew what her next move was gonna be and never liked for anyone else to guess it, she enjoyed the game, the chase, she got thrill from having boys and girls chase after her and fall completely head over heals for her before she ripped there hearts out, it gave her life. her friends called her crazy but that make her enjoy it even more, Brianna was pretty much loved by everyone on figure eight, she was the best friend your parents would love as a second child and could be the girlfriend your parents pictured you marrying, she could put up a good act.

Brianna was brought up on figure 8, at first it was a holiday destination when her mother would go on business trips, she was the biggest lawyer in the state, but when Brianna turned six her mother decided to open up her own offices on the mainland and move her family to the outer banks.

Brianna would spend her days at home with her father, he was FBI agent taking time off from work after he got into a accident, then when she turned 8 he went back to work fully recovered and Brianna was sent to the Cameron's household a few houses down every day. She met her best friend there, Sarah Cameron, the kook princess as everyone knows her by, Brianna was completely in love with Sarah, not in a sexual way but Brianna found a best friend who would never judge her or go against her, even in the darkest times.

Sarah Cameron was the only person who could say they had seen Brianna during a mental break down because she is who Brianna would go to for comfort, Sarah was her safe place and nothing could change that, even when the two weren't talking and going threw a rough patch, the two would always be there for each other no matter what.

Brianna was sitting in her room, she had just gotten out the shower and was sitting in her robe drying her hair, she had plans to go to town with Sarah, after her hair was done the girl applied her moisturiser and rubbed it into her skin just before her phone started ringing, she smiled as she accepted the phone call bringing it to her ear

"Well if it isn't my knight and shining armour" a laugh came from the other end of the phone "what you doing today, I wanna take you out" Brianna rolled her eyes getting up from her dresser chair and walking over to her wardrobe and started looking for something to wear "I have plans" she stated grabbing a hot pink dress out the wardrobe and grabbed her black knee high boots

"plans, plans with who?" The jealousy was dripping out him voice "relax rafe, I'm going out with your sister" she told the boy slipping her robe off and the dress on "ditch the bitch" Brianna laughed at the boy "and why would I do that?" She asked him putting her boots on and grabbing her lip gloss from her dress and applying some onto her cherry lips

"cause I'm your boyfriend, I should come first" Brianna paused completely shocked by what the boy had said "Rafe your aren't my boyfriend, we hooked up once that doesn't make me yours" a huff could he heard from the boy "your mine brie, I claimed you" he told her, the girl was walking out her house towards her best friends car giving the blonde a smile "I'm no one's and you didn't claim me now get lost" she told him taking the phone away from her ear and hanging up on the boy

"My brother I assume?" Sarah said to the girl as she got into the car "yep, ever since that party 3 weeks ago he won't leave me alone, like does he not have a life?" Brianna complained "that's cause he's obsessed with you, along with every other boy on this island"

"Not every boy" brie told her "yes every boy, except topper, I hope" Sarah looked at her uneasy "please S, topper is completely in love with you, I'm pretty sure he would murder someone just to be with you" Brianna joked with the girl "yeah let's hope it doesn't come to that" Sarah laughed

The girls road down the streets of the outer banks, the roof of the car down, sunglasses on there head as there hairs blew in the wind both singing along to the radio not giving a shit about anyone they passes

Eventually the car pulled up beside a ice cream shop followed by a load of other shops, "I have to pick my dress up for midsummers, get us ice creams?" Sarah suggested and Brianna nodded walking into the ice cream parlour

Brianna walked out the shop with two cones, vanilla for Sarah and strawberry for herself, she walked out the door licking her ice cream, she was enjoying it before it was knocked out her hand "what the fuck!"

Brianna looked at the ice cream melting on the ground then back up at the person who knocked into her "shit my bad" the boy didn't look sorry at all, in fact he was holding in his laugh "asshole" she muttered "hey what's going on?" Sarah walked over with her dress bagged up "nothing, it's fine" brie told the girl, Sarah nodded and looked over at the blonde haired boy who was still standing there, watching Brianna, "you can leave" she told him and he muttered something quickly under his breath nodding before turning away and walking fast around the corner

"Stupid Pogues" Sarah complained "i don't know, he was kinda hot" brie told her and Sarah laughed "okay brie I know you've had your fair share of kooks but Pogues? No way, you need to stay way, there dangerous remember" Sarah warned her "I could handle it" Brianna told her "come on let's shop" the brown haired girl said linking arms with her friend and walking down the street away from the melting ice cream.
