Chap 16 || The plan

I wake up early to the smell of breakfast coming from downstairs, I quickly get dressed before running down the stairs, two steps at a time. Good god it's scones! It's been so long since I had one, probably not after I moved back to Japan. In England on the weekends Kuske and I used to bake a batch for breakfast and then eating it fresh out the oven.

"Morning!"

"God morning y/n. Care for a scone?" Kuske says standing in the kitchen.

"Yes please." I get a plate and Kuske gives me three scones with jam on them, Oh how I've missed this.

The first bite is delicious, the warmth in the scone and the jam seeping through just fulfills me with strength. Now I know that I can execute my plan great today.

Kusuo doesn't even come downstairs this morning, since Kuske is here he just teleported to school. I should ask him to teleport me with him, then I wouldn't have to wake up so early so that I can walk to school. Gotta talk to him about that later. Better write it up on my mental to-do list.

I say goodbye to Kuske and walk to school like usually, you know, since Kusuo decided to go without me. On my way to school I run into Kaido and we talk about the dark reunion. I'm not sure what to do so I just play along. I was thinking about setting up something pretending I'm the dark reunion bit that sounds like a lot of work for me and a bit mean. But maybe someday?

At the schoolgate I say goodbye to Kaido, after all I have a plan. Maybe it's a pretty stupid plan and all that and I might regret it later but right now I feel like it so I'm gonna do it!

I ask the teacher standing at the gate if Hairo has come to school yet. He says no. Perfect!

Five minutes before school start I see a recognizable redhead running straight at me. Or the school since I'm standing in front of it but oh well. Let's do this!

I take a step and leap into a jump and throw myself at the ground sliding against the asfalt right in front of Hairo.

It's not a great plan, maybe not even a good one, but it's the best I can do. I don't have the energi to just be okey with Hairo ignoring me. So I'm gonna make sure he stops that.

"Y/n how did it go, are you alright!" Hairo says squatting in front of me.

"Ow, I don't really know I think I scraped my arm and leg, and my head kinda hurts." To be honest it did kinda hurt. But really not that bad, like I can get by just fine by myself but this is part of my plan.

"Well let's get you to the school nurse, come on stand up I belive in you!" He says stretching out an arm, I take it standing up.

All right now I feel like  it's time to explain my plan.
Step one: get hurt in front of Hairo.
Step two: go to the nurse.
Step three: talk with hairo.

Okey I probably should have been able to come up with something better but I just don't feel like it.

"Thanks for helping me." I say standing up, my leg does kinda actually hurt but nothing bad.

"Come on you can lean on me if you want to?" He says helping me.

"Really? Thanks!"

We start walking towards the school, my head actually started kinda hurting, I wonder if I hit it a bit hard to the ground, I mostly did it for dramatic affect but maybe I overdid it a little.

We get to the nurses office just fine.

"How did you even manage to get so hurt?" Hairo asks

"Oh, well I triped on my feet." That sounded really stupid, get urself together now y/n.
