OPHELIA

I arrived to the Astronomy Tower before Fred had, which led to me nervously twiddling with my fingers. I had no idea what today's lesson would include, nor how awkward it may end up being.

"Hey princess, thinkin' hard?" Fred's smug voice broke me from my overwhelming thoughts. I jumped a little bit, placing a hand over my now racing heart. Fred Weasley was leaning against the wall across from me, arms crossed over his chest.

"Hi," I mumbled, my cheeks red from embarrassment. I hadn't seen him since earlier, when I fell asleep on top of him in the Gryffindor common room. I had awoken before he had, and very quickly snuck out.

Cedric was the first to question me once I had returned, seeing as I had missed dinner. I apologized quietly to him, before rushing to my room for the night. Plus side of having my own room was that I didn't have any roommates to wonder about my wearabouts.

Since Fred and I had fallen asleep, we missed our free period, and hadn't studied. Which meant that today would need to be a duel study session.

"Mostly just nerves." I added, answering his initial question. I glanced down at my clothes, suddenly feeling extra bashful. I was wearing soft grey shorts and a matching soft tank top. I also brought a soft blanket to cuddle into if it got chilly.

"Today is just kissing, princess. Simple kisses." He said, pushing off from the wall and walking over to me. I blushed, smiling at him.

"We also have to study, I have a promise to uphold." I teased, pointing at the textbook behind us. He groaned loudly, resting his head on my shoulder.

"Fine." He agreed, stretching out the 'I.'

He pulled back and stood in front of me, contemplating his next steps; while my heart was racing right out of my chest. Fred was wearing a plain white t-shirt, with green plaid pajama bottoms. He smiled down at me. "Just, don't think okay?" I opened my own mouth to respond, when he leaned down and connected our lips.

My eyes widened, my eyes involuntarily closing. He pulled back slightly, waiting to meet my eyes, before continuing. "Okay, that was pretty good for a quick kiss. But, maybe try moving your lips a little bit. Not a lot, we aren't gonna make out yet. Part your lips a little bit, so our lips mold a little better." He instructed, and I nodded blushing.

He kissed my cheek lighly, before pulling back and smiling once more. He then leaned down again, and I closed my eyes, letting him take over. His lips closed over my own, and I parted my lips slightly, like he said, mimicking the movements he made.

I felt him smile into the kiss, before he pulled away again. "Way better." He assured me once my eyes had opened. I smiled brightly at the praise he had given me. "Next, I want you to initiate the kiss. Okay?"

I widened my eyes, biting down on my lip nervously. It's one thing to follow what he did, but it's a whole other thing to lead the kiss on my own. "Hey princess, look at me." Fred said, pulling my face up to look at him. "You will be fine. You trust me, right?" I gave him a steady nod, to which he smiled.

I licked my lips, took a deep breath, before leaning in and connecting our lips. I parted my lips slightly, moving my lips the way I had before, Fred copying my actions. His arms closed around my waist, pulling my body flush against his. I pulled back, a smile instantly lighting up my face. "I did it! Oh my gosh, I just kissed you." I ranted, my fingers flying up to feel my lips. "Bloody hell." I cursed quietly, still smiling. Fred laughed, pulling me into a hug.

"See, Lesson One was simple, quick, and easy." He whispered, kissing my cheek. "Did I pass?" I joked the second he pulled away from me. He rolled his eyes at me, nodding. "You aced, princess. I didn't expect any different."

"Awesome, now it's time for your lesson." I spoke, walking over to my bag to grab my textbook. Fred groaned out loudly, slumping down to the floor. "Do I have too?" He whined. I giggled at his his childish antics, before sitting next to him.

"We'll start off easy, I promise." I smiled, setting the textbook, 'A Guide to Advanced Transfiguration', in front of us. Fred opened one eyes, peaking at me, before whining out a simple agreement. "How about this? For every correct answer, you get a kiss? That way I can keep practicing, and you'll get a small reward?" Fred's face lite up, and he nodded enthusiastically.

"To start us off, can you tell me the 6 Branches of Transfiguration? You can have a kiss for each one you get right." I started, giving him something easy that he should know from the first 4 years of lessons. He smiled widely.

"Animagus!" He stated, pursing his lips for me to kiss. I giggled, kissing him quickly.

"Uh, Human Transfig." He said next, which I rewarded.

"Conjuration." Kiss.

"Transfiguring Animals & Objects, for sure." I giggled, kissing him again.

"Undoing Transfigurations?" He questioned, loosing his confidence a little bit. I nodded, kissing him again. "One more." I added. He was quiet, frowning in concentration.

After a few minutes, he finally looked at me sheepishly. "I don't remember what the other one was." I smiled, kissing his cheek. "Just normal transfig, they technically count it at it's own branch." I whispered, smiling as his cheeks flushed. "Oh," he muttered.

After that, Fred and I practiced his nonverbal spells, which he did pretty good at. Which wasn't surprising, since you need to know them to qualify for the 6 year Transfig class. Every time he did a spell correctly, I gave him another kiss. To his joy, and secretly mine, he got them all correct on his first try.

"Tomorrow, our lesson in class will revolve around Conjuring spells, we'll probably pick up our next study lesson with that." I spoke up once he had finished his last spell. We both stood up together, packing away our things.

"It's a date," he winked, making me giggle. "Our next lesson is friendly touches." Fred responded, making me raise an eyebrow at him. "Hugging, holding hands, cuddling if you want to. Innocent public affection kind of stuff." I blushed lightly.

"What do we tell everyone?" I asked him, pushing a strand of hair behind my ear.

He smiled fondly, "We can just say we're dating?" He offered, laughing when my blush deepened. "It's the best excuse for all the time we'll be spending together." He added when I didn't respond immediately.

"Okay." I agreed. He walked me back to my dorm. "Please don't get caught on your way back." I whispered once we reached my stop. He smiled, leaning down to whisper in my ear. "You're worth it, Princess." He connected out lips for the final time, before bidding me goodnight.
