Addison's pov:
It's been months since Derek caught me and his best friend together. I dont claim to be innocent but the least he could of done was answer one of my phone calls. I mean it's been 10 months and 100 phone calls, million more texts and emails. But dareak is pretty good at leaving everything behind and not looking back.
My friend Naomi and I were on a video call as we drink a few glasses of win. We talk about everything including my sad broken marriage. She suggested that I take the job that was offered to me at Seattle grace, the same hospital my dearest husband is working at. Richard Webber the chef of surgery at the hospital called me a few days ago to offer me a position at the hospital, he also told me that my husband was in a relationship with some Intern. Once Naomi heard that she told me that I had no choice other then take the job.
About a week passed and I was on a flight from New York to Seattle but honestly I have no clue what I was going to say to him.
By the time I arrived to the hospital it was late and of course it was raining, when I see him standing there with her getting ready to head out. Her back was towards me as he helped her out on her coat, but when she turns around her ocean blue eyes meet mine. She is radiant as her smile lightens up the room with no clue what is about to happen. Dispite the fact I have nothing against her and truly want to get to know her I decided to follow through with Naomi's plan. My heels click with every step i take closer to them.
"Meredith i am so sorry." Derek told his girlfriend.
A look of confusion takes over the smile she had.
Derek's eyes shoot towards me, "what are you doing here Addison?"
"Richard called for the best neonatal surgeon so I came, something you would have known if you would have answered any one of my phone calls."
Meredith looks at us both still lost. So I turn to the blonde and introduce my self " well hello I'm Dr.Addison Shepherd and you must be the woman who's been sleeping with my husband?"
I hated it the moment I said it, it wasn't her fault Derek didn't tell her. Her eyes shoot at Derek then to me "I'm so sorry I- I'm gonna go." She pushes through us both and walks into the parking lot.
"Really Addison was this the best idea?" I look at the pathetic look on his face as if he's the only one that was hurt in all this.
"Nothing like a good entrance" I give him an obvious annoyed look. "You couldn't have acted like a normal human Addison?" He's angry I can tell by the tone he's using but he's not loud.
I can't help but roll my eyes at his stupid remark
"Whatever Derek I don't have time for this, I have to go speak to Richard." I leave him alone in the lobby with no regrets of what just happened.
The conversation with Richard was short, I took time to review the patients charts and speak with the nurses a little.
I didn't quite feel like going to the hotel yet but I remember there was a bar across the street from the hospital.
When I get to the bar I notice a familiar blonde sitting and drinking alone. I did notice back at the hospital how beautiful she was but now i can see her better and now I know that I'm totally right.
I decided to sit next to her and join her "One martini please." She looks up towards me but doesn't seem bothered by my presences.
After joe hands my my drink I take a sip to try calm the nerves a bit. "I'm sorry for earlier" her eyes meet mine and suddenly I forgot everything I was gonna say. "It's ok it's not like you were wrong" she looked away quickly after. "But still it was wrong of me and I hope you will accept my apology." She looked back at me this time smiling ever so slightly "of course, it was no big deal , it not like it your fault. Derek on the other hand...well he never told me that he was married and certainly not to a goddess like women who is also a surgeon if I would have known I would have never gotten with him I'm the one should be apologizing." I was taken aback by her goddess complaint and I'm not sure if it's the drinks but it's getting warmer in here.
"Meredith I promise you that things between me and him are a lot messer then you think and we are kinda on a break after he found me in bed with his best friend but he just left and never came back so you have nothing to apologize for. It's a shitty situation."
She looked so surprised by everything I just told her then takes a sip of her drink.
"Well maybe stuff happens for a reason and it's all leading you to the right person." Her eyes were looking deep into mine now and for sure I know it's hot in here. "Maybe your right. Maybe the person could be right in front of our faces and we just dont know it." The tension is growing because she's still looking in my eyes now she's is not only looking at me but smirking as well. "I think your right, it's just a matter of time till things start change" her eyes drop to my lips for a second which brought a smirk to my face. When she looks up I see something different in her eyes she's looking at me as if she wants to know every thing about me and she looking for all the answers in my eyes. I can't handle her looking at me so I call joe and tell him to bring us some shots which I might regret later but right now I'm not thinking straight so it's ok.
