Vera grew interest to the new doll store in Utah. She went there on september 4th 1985 with her mother. While her mother wasn't watching, a girl with blonde hair tied into a messy bun walked towards Vera and tricked her, saying there were dolls like the one she wanted in the EMPLOYEES ONLY room. The doll Vera wanted had fair skin, white hair that ended at her ankles, pink eyes and a beautiful puffy dress.

She woke up in the room tied to a table. The woman stabbed the girl in the chest 4 times until Vera died. She sewed the wound up and cleaned the wound. She then put her in the box of bodies she uses for puppet models.
Vera woke up inside her own wanted doll, named Felicie. She was angry the girl tricked her and killed her.
