Catastrophe (7th Chapter)

Freddy and Monty woke up from a sound of an explosion, "did you hear that or is it just my system" Monty asked, freddy already caught the smell of a smoke, "no its real, come on!" freddy said as he pulled Monty, they met Bonnie halfway, "Hey what happened!" freddy yelled, "there was an explosion downstairs" Bonnie replied, they ran all the way downstairs to see what's happening,

They opened the door to the lobby and was shocked by the result, there were soldiers, fires, corpse, the soldiers kept shooting all the people on that lobby, Freddy was the most stunned, he watched the people who helped and gave him support getting shot and die, "Watch out!" Monty yelled pulling freddy and hid behind the counter and avoided a bullet, "shit! We have to get out of here" Bonnie yelled crouching beside them, "freddy we have to go!" Monty spoke, freddy didn't know what to say or do, everyone he cared about is dying, everything was happening in an instant, "freddy!" Monty and Bonnie yelled while a soldier pulled Freddy from the neck above the counter, freddy snapped back into reality and pulled the soldiers arm tackling the soldier back first into the floor hard, the impact made the soldier immobilised, freddy took the opportunity to grab the gun and shoot the soldier, Bonnie and Monty watched the angered freddy,

Freddy this angry wasn't a view for them, Freddy's brows furrowed more as he pulled Monty with Bonnie following them, freddy saw the Lamb woman collapse on the side, he looked away biting his lip from the anger, freddy led them into the emergency stairs, going multiple floors up, and went back to their room,

freddy walked towards the bed, fist clenching hard as the other 2 watching him from behind, freddy kicked the bed to the ledge with a scream of anger causing it to fall off, Monty hesitated but he had the courage to calm freddy down "freddy..." Monty spoke as he approached freddy slowly, "look we're sorry about what's happening downstairs, I know how valuable those people were to you, but-" Monty got cut off and flinched as freddy scowled at him, fangs and teeth baring from anger, Monty let out a sharp sigh and continued to talk "but... We have to go... Its dangerous here" Monty placed a hand on Freddy's shoulder feeling it tense from the anger "please freddy we have to go..." Monty said in a low voice, freddy looked at him with sympathetic expression, freddy exhaled tense leaving him as he calmed down, "there we go..." Monty spoke, slowly going infront of freddy and hugged him,

freddy hugged him back, head resting onto monty's shoulder as tears falling down his face "they're... Dead... Monty..." freddy spoke sniffling onto monty's shoulder, Monty didn't know how to react, he never cried or seen crying before, but he did know what it meant he knew freddy was sad "i know... I know..."

Bonnie turned back to them as he was done peeking through the door frame looking at the surroundings if there are soldiers around, there wasn't any yet but he was hearing foot steps, "guys they're almost here" Bonnie spoke, freddy and Monty stopped the hugged and looked at eachother smiling,

They can't go to the hallways, they have to jump off the edge of the room they're in right now, "we have to jump from here" Bonnie spoke, "and land were, we aren't on the same floor as the roof of the next building" Monty said, "not the roof, the windows, ill go first, my body is hard enough to break the window" freddy replied, Bonnie saw Monty nervous, he grabbed monty's shoulders and forced him to look at Bonnie "Monty you can do this alright? If me and Freddy can do it so can you, don't think that you can't just because your less experienced than us, you've done things we couldn't do in our 1st 4 days" Bonnie said to calm Monty down, Monty nodded "you can do this..."

Freddy jumped, putting his feet forward first to break the window with his boots, rhe window broke and Freddy landed inside, he turned around ready to catch the 2 incase they fall, Bonnie jumped and successfully dive rolled, Monty let out a sharp sigh and jumped,

as he landed right on the edge, his hard boots made the cement he was standing on collapse causing him to fall, but he once again caught the remaining ledge, freddy and bonnie sprinted towards him, panicking they crouched infront of Monty quickly and grabbed his wrist, and pulled him up, Monty collapsed on top Freddy's body, "fuck... That was scary as hell" Monty said in a low voice, freddy was scared too that he was gonna lose Monty but good thing they saved him right on time, freddy sighed in relief as his hand run through montys mohawk petting him,
