I like to make believe that everything will be okay

I like to make believe that the ones who bullied me will fall on their knees

I like to make believe that depression is just a symptom of this obsession
I like to make believe that I am pretty
I like to make believe that death is not an escape
I like to make believe everything will somehow come together
But I'm shaken and awaken
I have to accept this is the real world and not make believe this is a fairy tale
