In human form, Axel appears as a teenage boy with yellow hair, his eyes are a flushed sliver and a yellow triangular crown on his head. He wears a pastel long shirt, long orange pants with yellow stipes, and a dark yellow corset. In Yokai form, he has sliver white hair, and his eyes are a blood red. He wears a grey top with buttons, long blue pants dotted with stars, wears a star decorated night-cap with a small white knob on the top, and orange shoes with small moon symbols on them, and bells around his wrists.

Background:
Due to having Yōkai blood in his lineage, Axel has two forms: one where he takes a human form, and another where his Yōkai blood takes over and he becomes a full Yōkai. The former is frequently called his "Sun" form, whereas the latter is called his "Moon" form, as originally he was only able to maintain it during darkness.
