A/N: last week was honestly so busy and by the time I realized I forgot to post a chapter it just wouldn't have been worth posting one so I'm back

It's been two weeks since that day and your blow up, when you had gotten back to the tower no one questioned anything and Max mostly had stayed away from you since then. Sharon's been staying a lot at the tower of course her and Steve Rogers made fast friends as she reminded him of her Aunt Peggy.

Everyone felt tension whenever Natasha, Clint, Wanda and Sharon were in a room but no one would talk about and whenever Max tried to get answers they'd acted like they didn't know what he was talking about. What worried everyone more was whenever Sharon and Max walked into a room you were in it didn't take long for you to get up and leave.

And right now you hated it, you couldn't walk out the room. Max had asked of everyone to be at the tower today as he had something he wanted everyone to be apart of, so now you found yourself sitting talking to Tony and Natasha about upgrading weapons till you heard someone hitting a class

"CAN I HAVE EVERYONES ATTENTION!" Max shouted as you all turned to him as he grabbed Sharon

"Sharon Carter, from the moment I laid my eyes on you..."

At that point you zoned out trying not to breakdown you felt Natasha turn to you

Sharon's parents had passed away two years ago in a car accident, you did your best to be there for your girlfriend. They where nice people from the couple of times you meet them, they welcomed you into the family with open arms it was nice.

Right when you wanted to ask her dad for permission to marry her is when the accident happened and after that it never seem to be a good time but now life was slowing down so you had called Peggy asking her if you guys could meet up for a walk

"So dear what is it you wanted to ask me for?" Peggy asked as you guys came to a stop at a lake

"Every since Sharon's parents passed I was upset with myself I kept putting this off of asking her father then it was to late but now life's slowing down so Ms.Carter I would like your permission to marry Sharon" You say looking over at Peggy

"Oh sweetie, you have no idea how long I've wanted for this to happen. Yes you have my 100% permission to marry my niece, you make her happy in a way I've never seen her happy before" She reply's smiling brightly at you

To say now you where nervous would be an understatement with the help of everyone to help make a perfect date for your 3 year anniversary and to propose to her. Finally as you came to finish up the night at a beach all of your friends we're a safe distance away waiting to come out and record along with Peggy who really helped do a lot of this with you.

You watched as she stood looking out at the waves smiling softly as the sun set hitting her with a soft glow all you wanted to do was frozen the moment and live in it forever "Why are you staring?" She asked turning her gaze's over at you

"Just looking at my beautiful girlfriend" You replied smiling at her amazed at how you got so lucky with this amazing woman, slowly you turned to look at her grabbing her hand to turn her so she's looking at you. As you put your hand in your pocket you let out a whistle, Sharon gives you a weird look as you look over her shoulder to see everyone walking over recording. After taking a deep breath you drop to one knee taking the small box out.

"I've said it once I'll say it again the day you walked into my life you gave me a chance to change my life for the better and I don't know how I got so lucky that day you agreed to be my girlfriend, but I did I got lucky with so many things in the last 3 years because of you and ever since then I knew this was it for me, that you Sharon Carter were my endgame I started to care more about myself on missions so I could come home to you. So, Sharon Kate Carter would you do me the honor and marry me?" You say looking up at her smiling watching as tears fall down her face slowly as she nods her head repeatedly

(So I saw somewhere that her middle name was Kate so we are gonna go with it)

"Yes, I.. oh my god yes!" She shouts as you slide the ring onto her finger standing up picking her up into your arms spinning her around as everyone comes over shouts congratulations

Your bought out of your thoughts to everyone clapping their hands and cheering with Sharon and Max kissing. You feel hands on your shoulder turning around you see Bobbi, Natasha giving you a saddened look and Tony looking worried at you

"Don't look at me I'm just looking at you because the scary spies are looking at you sad and that never happens" Tony say's throwing his hands up

"Don't worry Stark, I'm good" You replied trying to fake a smile and shaking your head over at Bobbi and Natasha. For the rest of the night you try to seem normal so no one worried but you felt someone kept looking over at you.
