We were sitting in French and we were sitting in the middle, but I was able to sit next to Jerome this time and Alfie sat in front of us next to Mara.
"Morning, everybody." She told as she walked in.
"Morning, Mrs Andrews." We all told as one.
"I have your French test papers to hand back here." She told making Jerome give me a nudge so I look to see he wiggled his eyebrows at me while miss handed the papers out.
"I got an A? I got an A! Wa-Hey-Hey!" Mick exclaimed as he rushed to his feet and gave Mara a hug.
"I knew you could do it." She told and you could just hear the smile in her voice.
"What's going on?" Amber asked since Mara was still not in her good books and Mick turned around to look at her.
"I got an A!" He told making her become confused.
"What?" She questioned before standing up and moving to look at it.
"I'm sure I didn't get all of these. But, maybe I just, did some really good guesses?" He suggested.
"I'm sure that's the case here Mick." I told with a smile as Jerome held amusement on his from this and he gave Mara a tap on the back.
"Stranger things have happened, eh, Mara?" Jerome told with a sly smirk.
"Huh?" She asked to try and play innocent and Amber went to look at Mara's, making her hide her sheet from Amber.
"Okay, settle down please. Amber, back to your seat." Mrs. Andrews told before going over to hand me mine.
"Thanks miss." I told with a smile and a small nod.
"A like always. I do wish you would stop drawing the wolf in the barre though." She stated making me get my mischief smile on my face.
"We both know I won't." I told as she went to continue.
'Wonder how long this blackmailing will last now that we've got the test back.'

Later on, I was sitting next to Jerome while he had his shoes off due to Mara scrapping the gum off and I was working on the sketch of Mick for his painting that I was about to start soon.
"I just don't know how I managed to get all that stuff on them." Jerome simply told.
"It doesn't even make sense that one shoe could step in so much gum." She pointed out.
"Just unlucky I guess."
"Or some divine intervening." I joked making me and Jerome chuckle.
He tried to have a look at my sketch making me smack his arm to stop him before I continued to work. Soon Alfie walked in and held a confused look on his face.
"Has anyone seen my gum?" He questioned as he walked over and saw the ones already taken off of the shoes. "Ah. Thought I'd left it in the science lab!"
"Alfie, No!" Mara exclaimed as he put it into his mouth and I gagged at it, while Jerome laughed.
"Oh that's disgusting." I told as he shook his head not understanding and collapsed onto the couch next to me, while Amber walked in looking mad.
'Here we go.'
"Hey Mara, what's going on between you and Mick? You were acting very strange earlier?" She questioned making Mara look towards Jerome before looking back to her.
"Nothing. Amber, please. Let it go. I'm not even tutoring him anymore." She explained only for Amber to go to her things to get the test sheet. "Hey! That's private!"
Sadly though, Mara wasn't able to stop Amber from looking at the sheet and she began to compare the two.
"Funny. You and Mick must be like, psychically linked or something.
"Busted." Jerome told making me elbow him to signal it was not the time.
"You creep! You did this." Mara accused making Jerome put his hands in the air.
"I never said a word. Promise."
"He actually hasn't." I added to help his case.
"Why are you calling him a creep? You're the creep. Stealing my boyfriend by helping him cheat." Amber pointed out.
"I'm not stealing your boyfriend! And Mick doesn't know anything about it!" Mara admitted making a confused look form on Ambers face.
"What? I don't get it." She admitted as I began to put my things down cause I knew where this was going.
"I love this part. She did it for him secretly." Jerome explained.
"You are unbelievable. Did you really think you could get Mick by doing that?" She asked before throwing the sheets down and began to fight Mara while Jerome and Alfie began to laugh.
"Ding, dong! Round one!" Jerome exclaimed as the three of us sat up more.
"Whoah! Cat fight!" Alfie shouted as we all watched.
'They are not fighting well.'
Soon enough, Mick came in and began to rush to stop the fight between the two.
'I'd say that's my que to get ready!'
"Let her go!" He told to Amber before turning to Jerome. "Don't just sit there, you idiot."
"You know. Teachers are advised to not get between girls fighting, right?" I pointed out as Jerome stood up to pull them apart.
Sadly though they were having trouble making me get up and head over. I quickly put pressure onto their collar bone, making the two split apart and move down from the pain. As soon as they did, the boys pulled them away and held them apart.
"Your welcome.
"Get off me!" Mara exclaimed pushing Jerome back, making him throw his hands up and step back and she turned towards me with an annoyed look. "What the hell was that Evelyn?!
"A trick I learnt. I have seven sisters, fights are a common occurrence at my house, so it's always good to have the upper hand. Especially when Jules pretends to be you for more desert." I explained but mostly muttered the last bit to myself.
"What are you doing?" Mick questioned Amber, and not even bothering trying to hide how annoyed he was.
"That's right, take her side." Amber told before getting the test sheets while I moved out of the way and went to Jerome, before we went and sat back down. "Just because she cheated for you doesn't mean you have to defend her."
She gave him the sheets making him look over it as Mara held a remorseful look.
"Is this true?" He asked as he looked up at her.
"I was just trying to help. Your answers were so... wrong." She admitted.
"Do you really think I'm so thick... that I can't do anything without your help?"
"No, of course not. Not 'anything'."
"I could get kicked out of school for this." He told throwing the sheets down and wrapped an arm around Amber. "Come on."
We watched in silence as they left before Jerome spoke up.
"Mara." He told making her look towards us with tears in her eyes. "You missed a spot."
"Jerome now is not the time." I pointed out as I rubbed my forehead.
'Oh dear...... she's probably gonna come complain to me later about it. Maybe I can have her pose for it while I do so?'
