muse a is a volunteer at a dog shelter. muse b works at a local pizza place. the pizza place provides free pizza for the workers and volunteers of the dog shelter and one day, muse b makes the run to take the pizza to them. there they meet muse a. off in their own world, playing with the puppies. they're mesmerized by the volunteer immediately and for many months after always volunteer to take the run to the shelter. becoming friends slowly over the small interactions they have with muse a. falling in love with the kind and loving person more and more every time.

muse a not showing up one day out of nowhere. muse b asks where they are and are informed that muse a was in an accident. muse b immediately rushes to the hospital muse a is at and that's when they confess their feelings.
