i spent the next three years learning two things the first being who am i, i chose the name mikazuki beams akamitsu a new identity for myself

in other words one long list and we even with three ships our hanger is hopelessly cramped
i had also learned that i retained my appearance as renton thurston so good for me i guess i wasn't entirely sure how to feel about that but three years did change me

"orders captain" saki asked as i entered the bridge and sat down in the command chair
"truth" i called
"yes captain" he replied using the title i had taken for myself
"take us wherever we are going first" i said
"understood i'd suggest picking a unit you will be entering a battle" truth said
"it sounds like it is just me" i sighed honestly i didn't care
"i'll take the phenex better to be safe then sorry" i said
"the unit you will be facing collect it's head intact" truth said
"understood, you have the bridge saki" i said as i exited the hanger suited up in the plugsuit i was using that as a pilot suit for the time being before entering the hanger and mounting the RX-0-03: gundam phenex
activating the machine as we warped i launched
"alright truth where to" i asked he directed me to what appeared to be a battle but not quite a battle i launched one of the phenex's armed armor DEs to block the enemies beam this caught essentially everyone's attention as the looked towards the phenex which landed in between the two units
"alright phenex let's do this" i said as the gundam's destroy mode activated rushed at the enemy unit pierced the unit's chest with the phenex's hand and ripped out it's other cockpit before kicking it back i turned to the friendly unit and handed the capsule to them gently as i noticed the girl was indeed unconscious
after which i turned and lunged towards the enemy ripping off it's head
"i need this, alright truth what about the body" i asked
"if you could collect that as well it's nerve cables could be helpful in the future" truth responded i nodded
"right i'm returning to the ship" i said as the phenex returned to unicorn mode with the enemy very much defeated as i through the damaged unit over the phenex's shoulder holding it with one hand and the other held the head
"wait" a voice said over comms causing me to stop
"thank you" she said
"i'm doing this to save someone important to me, not to play hero, however i'm glad i could be of assistance" i said as the phenex took flight and landing onboard the akatsuki after dispatching the enemy unit's body onto one of the two carriers
