i wondered why she wasn't sure. she was the only one i ever touched the way that i did. it seemed not so platonic to snuggle up the way we do at night or the way we'd kiss one another's cheeks.
but i didn't hold it against her. maybe she thought we were only just best friends and super comfortable since we've known each other for over 10 years.
though, it wasn't like i went around kissing shoko's cheek or spooning her at night.

i just smiled and nodded, being merciful and not teasing her.

i used to go on dates and fuck around before i realized there wasn't any satisfaction that came with it. plus, it was starting to get boring and all i thought about was her. i thought maybe i could distract myself but ended up focusing more on her at the end of it all.
