Thomas just arrived on the Island of Sodor and looked around, he thought that it was cool to be on another island instead of being in a train worker. Train workers used to work for mean people and do deeds that not even the evilest can do.
Thomas also had a troubled past, being that he has been through the most and nobody knows about it. He met the fat controller at Knaford Station, "Hello, you must be Thomas?" Thomas smiled "yes sir I am" he said. "Nice to meet you, now, where do you come from?" The fat controller asked. Thomas stopped smiling, he knew where he came from and didn't want to be judged, "I used to work for the Monoscape Factory" Thomas said quietly to the fat controller.
The fat controller pondered about what Thomas had said, "I know you have been through a lot, but I must say, you are stronger than you may think Thomas" he began "and you have seen some things that many engines haven't, but you will have a good time here no matter what, I promise" he said smiling softly. Thomas smiled softly "Thank you sir for the encouragement" Thomas said having high hopes for the future.
