" you know we got you " Dtap responded . " I have a guest room down here and two upstairs, y'all too drunk to drive home" I told them.
" preciate it skuddd" rod slurred and went into the guest room downstairs and they left me to help Ja up the stairs.
Dtap wasn't too drunk but he had liquor in his system so he walked himself upstairs .
Herb had left after gifts cause he had to catch a plane to LA.
" c'mon Ja " I held his hands, helping him up off the couch .
"Please don't throw up on me" I said as I helped him up the stairs . " I'm not ma" he said with his eyes closed .
As I was about to walk him into the other guest bedroom, he let go of me and walked into my room .
'I'm not fina play with this boy' I told myself and walked into my room.
" Ja c'mon, you need to lay down" .
" ion wanna sleep in there, I wanna sleep in here" He yawned and took off his shirt revealing his white beater .
" why you keep looking at me like that?" He asked me .
" cause your drunk " I chuckled.
" i'm not drunk"

" shut up temetrius" I laughed and went to change into my polo pj pants and a plain white shirt.
I grabbed a pair of ja's basketball shorts and handed it to him and he went to go change .
I instantly got in my bed and put my bonnet on as he got on the other side.
" I forgot how comfortable your bed was" He groaned as we both got under the covers.
My room was always cold at night but that's how I like it, cold, dark and under the covers .
" come hereeee" He whispered . " boy if you don't go to sleep" I chuckled making him smack his lips.
"No, I wanna cuddle"
" oh my god , come here nigga damn" once I said that he instantly started smiling .
He laid his head on my chest and his left arm rested on the side of my hip. This was something we usually did every now and then so it wasn't awkward at all .
But he was just a little more touchy this this time . " thank you for everything today, I appreciate it" He said lowly .
" anytime, you deserve it" I smiled .
I felt him move his head and look up at me " what?.." I whispered .
Out of nowhere he started leaning in to where our foreheads were touching and we could feel each other's breath, making me nervous.
" Ja..." my breath hitched . " we can't do this" I whispered .
" I know.. but I want to" he stared into my eyes but not in a weird way .
My heart was telling me to just go for it while my mind is telling me this is crazy and shouldn't be happening.
I decided to just go for it and attached my lips to his making him sit up more .
He deepened the kiss and propped up one of my legs. Soon as my lips touched his, it was like a spark..a feeling that I couldn't explain but it felt good .
He propped himself up with both of his arms in between my legs and I sat up more . He connected our lips back together in a rough but more passionate way .
I bit his bottom lip softly and he slipped his tongue in making me moan a little . We both knew this was wrong..but it felt good .
He pulled away and we just looked at each other , lost for words . " I'm sorry..if I made you uncom-" he started but I cut him off .
" if I was uncomfortable I would've stopped " I spoke softly making him smile a little .
He laid next to me and looked at me " what are we doing Leah ?"
" I- I don't know . Can we just go to sleep ?" I laid my head on his chest and he rubbed my back .
" goodnight " he kissed my head softly and I was already dozing off .

" damn y'all just now waking up ?" Dtap asked as me and Ja walked down to the kitchen .
I nodded and grabbed a water bottle . " I got y'all fat asses some breakfast " rod said while coming from my dining room .
" you always talkin , shut the hell up " I told him . It was natural for me and him to go back and forth . " girl go back to sleep , big fat head ass" .
I rolled my eyes and sat down at the island . When me and Ja woke up we didn't talk at all , especially about last night .
" why you so quiet gang ? You good ?" Dtap asked Ja and he nodded .
" I'm good , I just got a headache " he chuckled .
" hope it go away cause you got practice today and game day tomorrow babyy!" He shouted making me drop my fork and they all looked at me .
" what!? Stop yelling in my damn house " I mugged them . " someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed " rod said .
" I'm finna slap you" I stood up . "Ouuu I'm so scared " he shook his hands and I slapped the back of his neck .
" get her for' I kill her " he pointed at Ja . " what he gone do ?" I put my hands on my hips .
" can y'all shut the hell up and enjoy this beautiful morning ? Damn . Rod leave maleah alone " Dtap said making me buck at rod .

" what you got going on today?" Ja asked me as were were in my backyard.
That was the first time we spoke to each other all day . " I have a photo shoot to finish up andd..I think that's it " I shrugged.
" how's your brand going ?" He sat on one of my lawn chairs by the pool .
" it's difficult and taking it's time but , it's slowly coming together " I smiled a little .
He sighed " are we going to talk about last night?" .
That was the question that I was hoping I could avoid . " what is there to talk about if there's no feelings involved?" I sat down in the chair next to him .
To be completely honest, I was lying . I knew I had feelings for ja for a while actually but I never showed it .
He looked at me confused but changed his face . " yeah.." he nodded . " you coming to my game tomorrow??" .
I nodded " don't I always ?" I chuckled making him smile .
