The statue that stands tall
Have you heard about the statue
The statue that stands strong
Have you heard about the statue
The statue with a wide range of potential
It's urge to please,greater than the strongest forces
The statue gives
And all people do is to demand more
So the statue gives
And gives
Till it has nothing left
But people still want more
So the statue chisels away bits of itself
Little chips here
Little chips there
Like a sculptor chipping away at bits of wood
Leaving nothing where the tall statue once stood
