i pull at my moms jeans crying out " i don't wanna go to kindergarten!, i wanna stay home with mommy!"

" sweetie i'll bet you'll make so many friends!" my mom says while pulling me up to carry me.

i wipe my tears with my arm and hide my face on my moms shirt. i feel my mom putting me down making my face grow a pout.

    my mom hands me my matching dora lunchbox and backpack although i feel forced to go i oblige putting on my backpack and grabbing my dora lunchbox by the purple handle. i grab my moms hand and walk to my classroom 204. my mother opens the door and i see a curly headed women greeting me with a smile. i give my mom a goodbye hug and place my dora backpack on a hook with "katia" in bold purple letters.

i hear the curly headed women tell us to go to our tables so i take a seat in a red chair and see a blonde boy with the biggest smile ever say

" hi i'm vincent but i like vinnie"

"hi i'm katia or kat" i respond with a soft smile they boy quickly responds with "okay so now we're gonna be best friends forever and we're gonna have play dates everyday and play in school everyday and-" i quickly respond with " okay vinnie" and hold his hand

6 hours later

the teacher walks us out to hand us back over too our parents while me and vinnie hold hands and we walk over to a dirty blonde women who looks like vincent a lot

"MOOMM!! this is my bestfriend kat" " can we pretty please have a playdatee?" he says while stretching out the e.

" vincent calm down!" she says processing everything he just said

" where's her mother?" i point out to my mom and the lady grips onto vinnie hand and walks over to my mom.

" hi mommy!" i say hugging my mom " can i please have a play date with vinnie?" " my moms responds " i'm not sure let's see what his mother says" while our parents started talking me and vinnie talked to each other talking about what we were gonna do as bestfriends
